    QOS and QOS.

Confidently in the case of TWINE; GE makes it a little interesting.

QoS just edges out GE...#4 & #6 in my rankings.

    QoS beats TWINE.

    GE vs QOS

    TWINE vs QOS

The latter could've gone either way as I place both TWINE and QOS at the bottom of my rankings.

    GE over QOS, rather easily.
TWINE over QOS, though this is much closer. If QOS had just had a little bit more meat to it, it'd not only be better than TWINE, but it'd be better than a lot of others too.

    GE - not close.
QoS - not by much. I wouldn't argue about it.

    TWINE

And if it were and other two films vs QOS, whichever two they might be, QOS would still loose.

    Even against AVTAK, @MajorDSmythe ?

There were a lot of participants this round, which is nice.

    GE beats QOS 23-9

    QOS beats TWINE 20-12

    Round 20:

    AVTAK vs TND

    and

    OP vs DAD

    TND (easy)
DAD (tricky, i love both movies but given the option, i would rather rewatch DAD).

TWINE was beaten by QoS...by 8 points?! Unbelievable.

For this round I'd choose TND over AVTAK (narrowly) and OP over DAD.

TND vs AVTAK (both near bottom of the pile but at least overly smug Brosnan is credible as Bond while Moore, sadly on account of age, isn't).

OP vs DAD (didn't even have to think about this. What should have been Sir Rog's glorious exit from the world of Bond on an 'all time high' aces a reboot necessitating PoS).

    Probably would agree with this.

AVTAK has some good moments but TND is slicker and with better action sequences. It's close but TND shades it.

OP in spades for the second one. DAD wishes it was fit to lace OP's boots and everything it tries to do (scenery chewing villain, epic action sequences, 'witty' dialogue) OP already did and got the t-shirt.

    TND

At least its plot is somewhat logical; at least it's about something.

    OP

Underrated Bond film. Slightly less down-to-Earth than FYEO, but well balanced and tonally even, with a powerful performance by Moore and one of the better Bond "women". Barry's score doesn't nearly get the praise it deserves. Major props for making a Bond dressed up as a clown credible and for giving him one of the tensest scenes in the film. Bond takes off his makeup, Barry's doomsday music starts playing like a ticking clock, ... Oh, I love it!

AVTAK easily. Better villain and action and doesn't fade away in the Last reel like TND.
OP even more easily. It's DAD!! Duh!

TND edges out AVTAK; both are pretty good “lesser” Bond films though.

    OP destroys DAD.

Yes, same here. The Moore films may not be among the best, but they crush the Brosnan entries.

TND, the most conventionally general audience pleasing(a.k.a. follow the GF formula/blueprint) Bond film of the 1990s

    and

OP, the most conventionally general audience pleasing(a.k.a. follow the GF formula/blueprint) Bond film of the 1980s.

Both entries tick the formula boxes well with TND benefiting from a fast-moving pace and David Arnold's best 007 score whilst OP has possibly the most exciting 2nd half of a post-OHMSS Bond film with Bond racing against time across East and West Germany to stop the bomb.
