DN
SF is indeed more polished, but DN has that iconic touch that SF doesn't possess in the slightest.
and.... and....
DN - By the slimmest of margins.
Each was an easy choice for me
DN
Skyfall tears DN to shreds. Sure, I can/do enjoy the latter in the context of the time it was made in, though in comparison it is rather weak. The only thing going for it would be Connery's stellar performance. Can't beat that.
SF over DN
SF - Dr. No is great but SF is the best Bond film since FRWL
DN easily beats SF. The latter having far too many plot holes to give it the status that many seem give it.
DN
SF beats DN: Closer matchup but still SF by a noticeable margin
Dr. No > Skyfail
Dr. No > Skyfall (SF bored me the last time I watched it)

SF
I enjoyed SF a lot last Bondathon, but hell it's DN
DN beats SF 14-11
Round 33:
DN vs LALD
and
FRWL vs LALD
Yeah, i have to give this one to Connery too, or rather Young. Can't beat the Master.
DN
FRWL
YES! The commonalities only enhance the difference.
FRWL
The sheer brilliance of these two films destroys anything that Hamilton ever did in the 70s.
FRWL
And FRWL over LALD, right? Sorry, I just have to ask if it is to count.
