Double helping of 60s Bond, please.

YOLT - A sumptuous feast from Gilbert, Adam, Barry, and co.
GF - Always at or near the top.

YOLT is not among my Connery faves, but better than TMWTGG at any rate.
The other one is probably the toughest so far. Both are close together in my top four, with 9/10 points (however behind FRWL and SF). OK, for the sheer cult factor and it being simply the most iconic of all Bond movies, I'll vote for GF in this case.

    YOLT

    CR

YOLT was a relatively easy choice.
CR just beats GF to the post. Marginally.

    GE easy peasy lemon squeezy
TWINE still not a big fan of TSWLM

FYEO vs. GE - I really like both these films a lot. They are quite different in tone, but are both relatively scaled back for their respective actor's tenure. Both Bond girls are among my favourites and I think both Rog and Pierce give excellent performances. GE will always be a special one for me and so I have to give it the win. I think it's one of the top two or three best Bond films of the last 30 years. FYEO puts in a good showing though.

TSWLM vs. TWINE - the tables are reversed here. Rog's best (imho) trumps Pierce's worst (again imho) by quite a long shot. TWSLM is one of my all time faves so anything that comes up against it will have a tough time for me.

FYEO just barely beats the only Brosnan film with sort of a claim to fame.
TSWLM, while I find it overrated and dated and probably no better than, say, MR, certainly beats the POS (relatively speaking) called TWINE, to which only DAD is inferior.

TSWLM over TWINE another upset in my rankings.

GE wins (honorable mention to FYEO-- it's a fun Bond pic...)...
TSWLM, no where near my favourite, but, pounds the poop out of TWINE-- into the ground-- (mainly because of that third act, and a wet-noodle villain... more wet noodle than Stromberg (that's an accomplishment!! Fat guy sits in a chair for the entire movie. Presses buttons and speaks ominously); but a guy that can't feel pain seems to actually feel pain, plus he's small, plus he can't take out Brosnan)...

I think Connery's natural presence, thank Dog, is timeless-- Moore's charm and Craig's all encompassing and driven everyman (with passion) is also something that relates to mass audience...

Brosnan was more a smirking, quipping avatar that temporarily saved the franchise (thank Dog). He did his job well, but it's not a timeless kind of portrayal. He pulled so much from the other Bonds into one.

Stromberg... I just wanted something a little more physically dangerous... But... he just sat in his chair, had a menacing voice, fed his secretary to a shark and blew up a helicopter-- which was cool...

But, as an ultimate villain, he prolly should of had something else up his sleeve by the time he met Bond, James Bond...

GE over FYEO. I love both, but the winner is clear.

TSWLM over TWINE. Not much competition here.

FYEO over GE - It's close. Both are top ten entries, but I love FYEO just a little more. I know it has its fair share of detractors on here, but I think Rog's fifth outing is bloody brilliant. GE I have much affection for. It just falls a little short.

TSWLM over TWINE - Yeah, no contest here.

Glen s first is his best and in my top five. Campbell s first is nothing like his comeback, it s a bottom five for me. As for TSWLM, third time s a charm for Moore. Not so for Brosnan. I am afraid it s a double whammy for Moore over Brosnan this time.
