GF beats YOLT
Goldfinger is a film that slipped off a bit for a few years, but it's a fantastic film and certainly a top five entry. Everything clicked with this third entry, the pace is relentless and Aston Martin sales have never been better.
TLD beats FYEO
I've loved The Living Daylights since I first saw it as a 12 year old in 1987, it might be dated but it was the first time in my life that I got a new 007. After Roger Moore, the adjustment to Timothy Dalton was not as hard as I thought it would be. Having loved Sir Rog I thought the transition would be harder. But Dalton played it much more serious, much more like Fleming (imo). He worked. I liked the story, the relationship with Kara was more believable and I like d'Abo (Sorry @barryt007 ) The action was first class, it's just a well rounded package for me.

FYEO - close but convincingly.

(I have a real soft spot for YOLT and FYEO is top ten material for me but GF and TLD still beat them in this match up)
FYEO. Another tough call. While some fans believe that Moore’s “good” 007 performances began and ended with TSWLM, I disagree. I actually find his performance here to be very nuanced and a good mix between serious and humorous. I also like that things don’t come too easily for Bond, and he actually has to “work.” FYEO only significant negative (IMO) is Bill Conti’s 1980s flavored score. In addition, I never argue with a woman holding a crossbow (sorry Maryam, Ms. Bouquet actually knows how to use her weapon of choice).
And TLD over FYEO.
TLD > FYEO - quite close, but TLD is a top 3 Bond film.
GF is better, YOLT 30-3
Glen s first Dalton beats his first Moore 20-13
