    TB vs LALD

TB wins this one, quite close but for me TB is the better overall package. Despite loving Moore's debut, Connery in his fourth outing is hard to beat. Super cool and confident. Lush locales, beautiful to look at, stunning women and a fantastic list of villains.

    TMWTGG vs DAD
Neither of these have ranked very highly. But bizarrely both have grown in my appreciation over time. DAD is actually an enjoyable romp if you let it. TMWTGG is a great Bond film. Almost.
Take out some of the silliness and GG would be an epic Bond film. A fine turn from Moore and Lee really help this film, I sometimes think what could've been. Either way, it's the better of the two.

    TMWTGG

Never would have expected to end up with two Moore winners, especially two of the somewhat lesser tier. But at least for TMWTGG there was no real challenger.

Didn’t have to think too long about these.

    Tough round again.

TB is in my Top 5, a true Masterpiece. LALD is damn good, but just short of the top ten. So TB it is.

TMWTGG and DAD are almost equally entertaining and arguably feature the best performance of their leads. They are even my 3rd favorite movie of each actor, so i really don't know... I will go with Pierce for this one though, for the sake of variety. So DAD

    Quite easily TB and TMWTGG.

We are now halfway. Due to the delays, as much as half a year by now, we shall run through all existing films before doing Bond 25 against them all in the end.

Both favourites of mine so they are the obvious winners in my case.
  • LALD and TMWTGG for me! Of course TB is excellent, and DAD is still enjoyable. Moore's first two films are easy winners.

TB. While - for some reason - I never really warmed to Claudine Auger’s Domino or Adolfo Celi’s Largo, Luciana Paluzzi is a gem and the scenes between her and Connery are electric. Plus, TB is Connery’s best “overall” performance as Bond IMO.

TMWTGG. Talk about flawed movies!! That said, there is something to treasure in every Bond movie – even those that I don’t like much. Here Roger’s second 007 outing gets the vote for the great Christopher Lee – especially the “duel between titans” verbal battle between his Scaramanga and Bond.

    LALD and TMWTGG.

A tougher choice on the second pairing than the first.

TB by a fair margin, although LALD is an old favourite.

TMWTGG over DAD. Pretty close though - I consider DAD more entertaining, but GG is an overall better Bond film with far more intelligent dialogue.

TB is the near perfect combination of the Fleming-esque and the more cinematic versions of Bond.

This is like asking the question, "Which venereal disease I would enjoy having". I jest. TMWTGG mainly due to the Lee/Moore scenes.

No contest. Love NSNA. But, it's no match for a Flemingian Bond film.

Funny that they both start with Bond on a training mission, and have their climax in a muslim country. Bond headbutts a guy in both as well.

    Also, same for me.
