So I did better than the top 10K average, only 16 points off top 10K currently. Getting Son in a few weeks ago was a great move.

Nightmare for Son he was starting to hit form also, looks like that banked free transfer I have is going to get used up, though who to bring in?

Those stats are interesting. It only covers this specific gameweek, but you can use those numbers when planning transfers. I looked at the same stats table when doubling up with Sheffield United in defence on wildcard; I saw that each week I got negative numbers from not having more SHU defensive coverage. It's typical that the gameweek I make that move, it didn't work out…
Oh no! He was one of the key players on my wildcard, and probably the one player alongside Alexander-Arnold, Salah and De Bruyne I looked at as a long-term option. He'll be difficult to replace…
I may get ings in and get Cantwell back and then have 3 million in the bank, though means taking a hit. I could do a straight swap for Son though who long term will be consistent.
Ideally I would only take a hit if that involved upgrading or getting a like-for-like replacement – not downgrading to bank funds. All depends on your plan going forward though.
I struggle with finding options for Son too. Is How has Fernandes played so far?
Bruno I was thinking about though I already have Martial, he hit the post and got an assist against Chelsea. Its early days though his quality from dead ball situations is evident.
Just looking at fixtures no midfielders really stand out, Richarlison I considered though his fixtures are shocking. Alli a possibility though I think Spurs without Son and Kane will struggle
Edited: Several hours later I still have no idea what to do about Son, I am mindful of the blank GW the week after this one and City's potential double GW further on.

Same here, I have no idea who to bring in. I've been thinking of maybe downgrading Son, and upgrading Firmino to Agüero, but that blank is an issue.
Did KDB get that assist, or did Laporte get a toe on that ball before it went in the net?
Still not decided on Son replacement, it feels like a pivotal move what I decide to do.
FPL app last time I checked have given assist to KDB, not watching the game.

No doubt! If a highly owned players is captained by many (and not you), then your rank is likely to drop.

He's not going anywhere for me either. I want to bring in another City asset if possible, but rotation is a worry.
I may do the same though I will see how City do against Real Madrid. I thought of Silva and Mahrez, though Mahrez did not start today despite no Sane or Sterling
I was surprised that Mahrez didn't start; he was on my lit of Son replacements, but it might be better to look at other options now…
Good result tonight, Aguero blanking helped us Salah Captainers.
I had Mahrez before even though he will get points he can easily be dropped for a few games, not worth the hassle. I will look to get a key man like Grielish as potential bonus points, I think he is on penalties also? I have never owned him.
Agüero blanking was the best thing about my gameweek, haha!
Grealish is a good option for that price. A slight worry that he plays for a team so low on the table, but on the other hand, when Villa scores, he's likely to be involved. Don't know if he's on penalties though.
With Grealish blanking and fixtures decided against getting him in. Also I am never keen on having middle tier players on the bench as I would be overloaded, I always want to be pretty set with midfield and attack. I can upgrade to Bruno in a few weeks if I want to get rid of Traoré, so I have options.
That looks like sensible moves! I'm still undecided about my Son replacement, so it will be a late decision…

There are quite a few players given the armband, but Salah is by far the most captained this gameweek, with a nice fixture against West Ham. Good luck everyone!
I'm biased because of his Arsenal days, but I'd argue Giroud is their best striker, and that Chelsea and Lampard should have started him more then they've done. An underrated player, who I sometimes wish was still playing at Arsenal. As top five is a stretch for Arsenal anyway, I hope Chelsea win this!

Spent a lot of time deciding on my Son replacement, and settled on Martial over Fernandes. Don't know if that was a good choice, but there wasn't that many interesting options.
Martial has scored two good goals in two games I have him and think he is most likely to get points tomorrow.
Terrible GW so far, I have no idea why I started Lundstram he only came on for last 9 minutes, I have issues in defence with him and Kelly. I may have to replace Kelly with my free transfer.
Edited: Kelly has recovered from injury hmm, Lundstram blanking next GW as is KDB, do I get rid of Lundstram now?
We'll have to hope for some goals/assists from Martial tomorrow then!
Looks like Lundstram is used as a sub now that Berge is in the the team. You could do Lundstram to a playing def who also plays next gamweek.
