Late goal for Leeds killed my double Wolves defence points, I am way off now. Just going to take hits for fun now and try to stumble on random hauls.

A difficult gameweek for many, looking at various leagues and teams. The teams that have scored big looks to have one of Foden or Mount + a playing Chelsea def or two.

    Took a - 12 I need to chase points.

I got rid of Ronaldo just not value for money in FPL terms and United are useless currently.

West Ham v Spurs is tight not much to talk about, terrible GW again could be worst score ever. think I am burned out with football my enthusiasm watching games is just not there right now, expecting United to get pummeled by Liverpool later which does not help.

I really hope we don't have a World Cup every 2 years I think players and fan need a break from the sport.

Antonio goal God I needed that, Cresswell assist.

Jota and Greenwood both start thankfully, Mane and Sancho, Pogba on the bench. Ole starts with Fred and Mctominay gr.

I think that could be said of all the premium strikers at the moment. I've seen several teams shifting funds into midfield and defence with great success.

Incredible score at Old Trafford. This must surely make the United board consider their managerial options? I'd expect a result like this with Arsenal playing Liverpool, but United, with their squad should be performing better.

This happens often to me as well, watching Arsenal. It helps just logging off from football stuff for a few days though.

Ole's tactic were baffling he set up exactly the same way as he did vs Atlanta which was a cataclysmic disaster in the first half. we were literally playing 424 formation in both games and Atlanta did not punish us as much as they had 5 players out and Liverpool are steps above in quality... It's actually incompetence.

Gameweek 9 was a gameweek of highs and lows, as those that backed the likes of Salah, Mount and Foden for points, were rewarded big time. Our league was no different, with very high scores for some teams. Best of us all this gameweek, was Anfield FC, scoring an impressive 116 points. Congratulations! =D>

Sorry for the late reply @Fire_and_Ice_Returns; didn't get the usual notification of a new comment!

From what I've read from both British and Norwegian media in the last few days, Ole looks to be safe for now. If he sticks to the same tactics though, the board must surely act. All eyes will be on the Sp*rs-United game this weekend, no doubt.

Gameweek 10 was a rather boring gameweek for many of us, where several highly owned players failed to register many points. Still, we had some team managing very good scores, such as LVLA Skopje 05, our gameweek 10 winner – scoring 68 points. Congratulations! =D>

Here are the gameweek 11 captaincy picks!
    Salah: 16
    Fernandes: 2
    Ronaldo: 1
    Grealish: 1
    Townsend: 1
    Jiménez: 1
    Son: 1
    Toney: 1
    James: 1
    Aubameyang: 1
    Chilwell: 1

We have a varied list of captains this gameweek, with several players having good fixtures. Salah is (again) by far the most captained player, backed by 16 managers. Have a player ever been so heavily captained in our league? I think not. Fernandes is the only other player backed by more than one manager. Good luck everyone!

Looks to have been a fairly one-sided affair in the end. City just too dominant for this United side.

By the end, ManU were just trying to keep the score down. City completely dominant and might easily have won by 4 or 5 ... should have had a pen, too.

I'm ranked about 3,000 worldwide in FPL, my best year so far. No Cancelo in my squad, who looks like a must-have ... but probably soon or before anymore price rises.

Didn't see the game, but from what I could read afterwards, it indeed looks like City could have had several more goals yesterday.

Yeah, it seems crazy that the owners & senior management continue with such mediocrity ... but Ole's very much a company man and never going to make waves, which seems to be the priority. But it's getting embarrassing again and when fans become more demanding he'll be gone. Who knows, maybe as soon as this international break?

    Ok, thanks!

I've yet to watch WH/LFC, but I'm having a bad GW. Double Chelsea defense; useless Mbeumo & Toney; Sanchez red card; Livramento on the bench ... urgh! WC used ... and dropping fast, I fear.

Know the feeling @Fire_and_Ice_Returns – which is sometime every season with Arsenal. Don't know how they've managed to find their way to a fifth place before the international break, but they have. Things usually go south for Arsenal around this time of year, and with Liverpool next, I expect Arsenal to go back to their usual selves quite fast…

Before this gameweek, a double Chelsea defence and either (or both) of Mbeumo and Toney looked so good on paper, but this was a gameweek of several surprises. Nothing better than to use the wildcard after a bad gameweek though!

Oh, but I used the WC and the BB weeks ago!

Dropped 5000 places this GW ...

Let's see how the international break goes but before today, with one free transfer and plenty in the bank, I was thinking of either Duffy to Cancelo or Gray to Son. Was not watching closely, but Son appeared poor today and was yanked at 0-0, which suggests Conte was not happy with him. So probably Cancelo .... and an unprecedented back line of 4 or even 5 every week.

But ESR, Gallagher and Ramsdale I'm looking at, too ....

    Wow, West Ham ... 👏👏 👏 !!!

Ah, my bad! I saw on Twitter that some managers used their Bench Boost this gameweek, with great success. With the right bench, this was a great gameweek to use the chip.

Any rank drop feels significant when your overall rank is that high. Still inside the top 10k though!

I had my eyes on Son for next gameweek too, but right now I'm not so sure… Cancelo is a great option though – and great value too, being second only to Salah as the highest scoring player in the game!

And what a season West Ham and David Moyes are having. Incredible!

The final gameweek before yet another international break is over, and it was a gameweek with a few surprises, with Burnley managing a draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, and West Ham beating Liverpool at London Stadium. Since many own Chelsea and Liverpool defenders, the lack of clean sheets for both teams no doubt affected the average score in our league, and the overall average. Still, we had several teams in our league managing good gameweek scores, best of which was Dinamo Skruknott.

3000, wow! My best gameweek rank ever was gameweek 7 this season, at 9k. Feel free to join our league, @Feyador! :-)

    Ok, thanks!

I've yet to watch WH/LFC, but I'm having a bad GW. Double Chelsea defense; useless Mbeumo & Toney; Sanchez red card; Livramento on the bench ... urgh! WC used ... and dropping fast, I fear.

Before this gameweek, a double Chelsea defence and either (or both) of Mbeumo and Toney looked so good on paper, but this was a gameweek of several surprises. Nothing better than to use the wildcard after a bad gameweek though!

The 2021/22 league code is: dk7qhh – or you can auto join here. :-)

    Thank you!

Incredible!

I'm pretty much a neutral, but I find myself rooting for both WH & CP this season ...

WH seem like a solid team, not the most talented to be sure, but very disciplined and full of hard-working guys with lots of character. Sadly, Europe, lack of squad depth, and Antonio's hamstrings will probably inevitably take their toll on their current top four position in the prem.

West Ham and Palace have both been surprisingly good so far this season. Many expected Palace to have a really bad season, but they've been picking up points since the start of the season, and are currently just two points behind United. West Ham have been incredibly solid, but as you mention, European games and injuries might push them down the table eventually. It will be interesting to see if they strengthen the squad in January.

Palace had two or three draws that might/should have been wins. Almost unbelievably, there's a direct correlation between Gallagher's 8 goals/assists and the absence of Milivojevic on the pitch. Vieira's noticed, so a probable must have now, though if Salah keeps firing, there may continue to be no need of another premium forward, which means the risk of spreading the budget around and leaving points on the bench. But that's arguably more of a psychological blow than a real one ...

Hammers look to be getting a Czech investor on board, so dollars for January seems likely - recently they'd have wasted it on a moderately big name, but they do need another striker. The 4.0 Johnson seems to be keeping Coufal out of the starting eleven and looks to be the new Livramento. And the mid-priced Bowen could be a good to excellent pic, especially the latter if Antonio goes down before Jan.

Good point re. Gallagher. Just shows how important he's become for Palace. I se many managers on social media tinkering with a budget attack, pushing money into midfield and defence. Looking at where the points so far this season has come from, they're definitely right. The only issue is that it's a bit inflexible.

Indeed, it will be interesting to see what fresh money can do far West Ham in January. Bowen – much like Gallagher- is getting hard to ignore, especially since Antonio's form has dipped a bit in recent gameweeks. Getting Gallagher or Bowen can free up funds too!

Yeah, the forward spot is a real problem now ... 451 looks the best formation. Vardy should be running out of steam soon ... who knows what's going on with Kane ... maybe Lukaku, though appears to be an overpriced Giroud in this squad ... Ronaldo, maybe, in January, if United get it together. A mid-priced DCL, but of course he's injured & Everton look dismal - expect Benitez to shut things down as long as he lasts. For budgets, Edouard looks promising for Palace, especially if takes the centre spot permanently. I also like Hwang instead of Jimenez, though a marginal move.

Agree on all of this. The forward spots are really tricky right now. I see a lot of teams jumping on Kane at the moment. If he becomes to focal point in Conte's team, he might become a decent option. Not going to rip my team apart to bring him in just yet though. DCL is interesting, as he appears to be back for a nice fixture run in December. Not a transfer to prioritise yet though. Edouard has Burnley (A), Villa (H) and Leeds (A) up next. If he can bag a few goals in those games, he might become the budget forward to target. Palace have a decent fixture run throughout December as well.
