'Tales of the Unexpected': Roald Dahl's Adult Short Stories and their TV Adaptations

As you may know many of Dahl's adult short stories were adapted for TV in such anthology series as Way Out and Tales of the Unexpected (TOTU).

So this is the place to discuss all aspects of Roald Dahl's fiction for adults and their various adaptations on TV.

Personally speaking, my favourite Dahl short story and TOTU adaptation is 'Parson's Pleasure'.

For me, it's "Lamb to the Slaughter". And the Hitchcock adaptation is also great.

Yes, that's another classic story and TOTU episode of course and one with a Bond connection as the initial idea came from none other than Ian Fleming himself! Dahl acknowledges this in the introduction to the TOTU adaptation.
