Ultimately, it's a Broccoli/Wilson produced Bond film, and therefore I will like it. Sure, I hope it's a cracking all-time great and perfect Craig sendoff. But even the lesser films in my rankings I prefer to most any other film.

I always enjoy returning characters and my only concerns would that they go overly tropey or try to overconnect things like they did in SP. Even still I enjoyed SP, but would prefer that the film stand out on it's own a little more, while keeping the Bond elements we know and love.

I hear yo let's not get overboard with bringing all these ppl back to send it off

Ana De Armas saying in a recent article that '' Women wear the pants in this Bond film!'' is yet further evidence that the film will be too Woke.

Actresses cast in Bond films have been saying that for the past two and a half decades.

But this time they'll make male audience feel even more insecure of themselves! How could EON be so cruel???

Yup. And I'm only predicting this because there's been so much salivating over her inclusion of the film by fans that it can only mean she's playing a minor role.

Yeah, I'm preparing myself for the disappointment of her being wasted in the film. So if it turns out to be reality, then there's no real surprise. And if it doesn't, then that'll be a big plus for the film right off the bat.

My only concern is that people are gonna judge the film for things that people have already accused the film of. I think they'll be looking for it, and anything that in anyway resembles any kind of "wokeness", whether intentional or not, will be judged harshly, and be overanalysed. Basically creating problems with the film, rather than basing it on something intentional, and worth discussing.

I saw that with SPECTRE. When the "slash my wrists" quote came out and were blown way out of proportion, many interpreted that as Craig getting bored in the part, so interpreted his performance in SP as being "bored", "he obviously doesn't want to be in this film", "he's only in it for the money", neither I personally get out of Craig's performance.

He did say after spectre if he did another it’d be for the money

He also revealed he was under some sort of contract to do a 5th as well. I doubt Barbara and Eon would force him if he really didn’t want to though

After Casino Royale Daniel Craig made a statement that he planned to stop working out.

Because he didn't want to be known and remembered as "The Fit Bond."

Exactly, and that has even bled over into this film because now he's back and again, people think he doesn't want to be there, which is complete baloney, especially if anyone here has seen his drunk speech at the end of filming in Matera... You know what this discussion has actually made me more excited because I've just remembered when he heard that everyone behind the scenes had a joy making the film, and feel they have something really special.

The media tries to portray Craig as being a temperamental brat; in reality, he is a professional; respected inside of the industry for this professionalism and dedication... It was his casting that quickly made the rest of KNIVES OUT fall into place- from final financing to an all star cast locked in (hmmm... same can be said for certain members joining his last three Bond films as well)...

I know people who worked on DREAM HOUSE (filmed here in the GTA), and no one was happy with the film (if memory serves, the director, Jim Sheridan, wanted his name off of this project).

But Craig and his co-stars (soon to be wife), Rachel Weisz, and Naomi Watts, did their best... It's not like professionals ever say "oh, this sucks, I'll just be bad in it"... They do their job.

And BTW, if anyone can get the original script for DREAM HOUSE, it's a solid script... A very competent and enjoyable psycho-thriller that I loved when my agent sent me a copy (since I was on a similar assignment at the time)... But by the time prep on the film was being done, the producers dipped fingers into the pie and started to mix the ingredients... They pooched it... Think of the pedigree on this film: Craig, Weisz, Sheridan... the end result was... poop.

Sheridan refuses to talk about that film too much these days, but he spoke highly of Craig when it was brought up. Most seem to.

I wish this film were so over the top pro feminist, MeToo, dazzling display of in your face WOKENESS that several (or more) members keel over in a faint clutching their antique pearls. That would be lovely. B-)

However, I think what we will get will be a very good, well written, beautifully directed, stunning filmed Bond movie.

Naoime Harris - '' In this new film you have four strong, intelligent women who drive the plot forward.Bond is not disrespecting women and not after a woman because of how attractive she looks ''

Good god, this film is shaping up to be a Terminator:Dark Fate/Diversitys Angels/ disaster! More evidence that the new Bond is going to be more woke nonsense!

...in your opinion. In mine, I think it's shaping up to be a really interesting and worthy addition to the franchise. We have a great director, great writers and great actors, with extremely positive vibes coming from everyone involved, much more than has been seen before...

...and just because the women are going to be getting an overhaul with the way their treated, doesn't mean Bond will not be the protagonist of the film, or be majorly different to what we've seen from him before, and it also doesn't mean the story will become "feminist propaganda".

As for your examples, just because a film has a similar approach to it's female characters, doesn't mean they're all going to fail. Different people are involved from cast to crew, so there's no reason to say the same thing will happen. Plus, have you actually seen these films (Dark Fate/Charlie's Angels) for yourself to get your own opinion on them?
