    Good point.
Mazda seem to be the only asian brand designing stylish cars these days?

I used to love the design of the Alfa Romeo GTV6

l agree. For some strange reason, even as a child I wasn't very fond of Porsches... and I'm old enough to remember the appearance of the "901"...which had to be renamed the 911 because Peugeot successfully claimed a trademark right to use three-digit numbers with a zero in the middle (such as 403 - Columbo's car! - and 404). Anyway, even as a first-grader I failed to see what people saw in a 356. It was just a flattened VW Beetle for me. I might think different today, but then...

    I also wasn't a fan of the 911 but liked the 944,928,959.

That's the same thing; different regional names.

Yep, I like those too, especially the 6. Beautifully balanced car (design) and, other than most Asian brands, doesn't look cheap at all. I really love the way they're going right now. I don't know if it's as much fun to drive as an alfa, but still. A worthy competitor.

After some other fine DS models, including the DS 7, I'd say the French make an impressive return to form.

Agreed, the interior looks very cleaned up and stylish, although the analog clock looks out of place. From the outside however, I feel it is rather bland. It could be any other car. Where have the design elements gone that Citroen was so famous for?

    At least it's a hybrid.
The french government wants the french brands to make electric cars now.

So when you said 'that's not Mittens, this is Mittens' it was irrelevant. The picture you have posted there is of the ginger Mittens from over the road, and it has no bearing whatsoever on whether the black and white cat in my neighbour's garden is called Mittens.

2021 Hyundai i30 Sedan N Line imo looks terrible...........

That's not the i30 but the Elantra.

That's the same thing; different regional names.

It looks quite striking from the rear:

It's not the same car at all.

Yes it is, you've linked to the i30, this is the 'i30 Sedan N-line' (in Australia). It has different names in different regions, as I said.

The car we Europeans know as i30 is not the new Elantra like in Australia. Just check out the netcarshow links. Capiche? :-?

I honestly don't know how to make it clearer. It's called the '2021 Hyundai Elantra' to us, to Australians it seems to be called the '2021 i30 Sedan'. Don't worry about the other car that's called the i30 elsewhere.
They literally spell it out for you here:
"the new 2021 i30 Sedan (the renamed 2021 Hyundai Elantra)"

"the model other regions will know as the Elantra N Line"

    https://www.caradvice.com.au/864055/2021-hyundai-i30-sedan-n-line-revealed-australian-debut-due-fourth-quarter/

The I30 in Europe is this one:

    mAZ0j3Q.jpg

The new i30 in Australia will be same car as the American Elantra.

The i30 Sedan, yes. So to say it's not the i30 Sedan, as you did, was wrong.

Imagine if I had a black and white cat called 'Socks', and then he visited my neighbour next door and my neighbour, because they hadn't been introduced, called him 'Mittens'. Same cat, different names in different places.
And just because there's another, entirely different ginger cat who happens to also be called Mittens who lives over the road, that doesn't mean that my neighbour was mistaken to know the black and white one as 'Mittens'. So when you said 'that's not Mittens, this is Mittens' it was irrelevant. The picture you have posted there is of the ginger Mittens from over the road, and it has no bearing whatsoever on whether the black and white cat in my neighbour's garden is called Mittens. Different pussies. Capiche?
    :)

The current i30 fastback, available here, is an entirely different car.

Nobody said it wasn't. That's ginger Mittens :)

And so far, there are no plans to bring the Elantra back to Europe.

Great...? That car you said isn't the i30 Sedan... is the i30 Sedan, in Australia.
