    That works rather well.

    Nice color too.

Indeed; that’s the Polestar colour so I guess it was always going to be that! :)

I know some around here are rather aggressively anti-restomods (or at least we have to presume) but I think that works surprisingly well - especially as the original is a car that goes more for dainty elegance than a muscular racing stance.
I might change the wheels maybe.

Swedish racing division celebrates motorsport success and 60 years of iconic Volvo coupe with jaw-dropping restomod that will be available to buy

I've never been the biggest Volvo fan, much preferred SAAB, but this one is a gorgeous looking machine.

Wow I've only just seen this thing. 7.3l and 836bhp!!

    https://www.topgear.com/car-news/british/aston-martin-victor-836bhp-manual-masterpiece

    _dsc9991.jpg?itok=GmYExeeT

It's hideous, but 836bhp- through a manual transmission! I presume Bruce Wayne will be very happy with his new motor.

    3000-aston-martin-victor.jpg?itok=JSfUhRzk

Funnily it looks more like the 80s AMV8 that Dalton drove than the recent TLD special edition Vantage does.
Who made it? Q division of course.

I find it a fascinating design. I've always liked the muscle car look from am, and this is no exception.

Yeah I don't think it's 100% successful, but it's quite fun to see them do an 80s retro model.

    Sidepipes!

Not a big Volvo fan either. But I wouldn't say no to being gifted a 480. ;)

Not sure if anyone has seen this but an international trailer with slightly different footage has gone live. It shows some of the Atlantic road footage and has a new musical cues.

Check out the first scene, there are some cool cars parked on the square. A red Ferrari 308 GT 4 on the left and on the right what possibly looks like the front of a dark BMW 2002 or an Alfa Romeo Giulia GT.
And the Maserati Biturbo on the bridge, of course. NTTD turns out to be a great movie for enthusiasts of classic cars.

Wow! It's a pity they sell these, they should stay in the museum.

In the meantime I'm driving a golf vii ecoboost on corfu. A very solid car, but boring as can be.

When on Corfu, make sure to visit Spiro's Bar in Pogoi. He is a huge Bond fan and has a collection of pictures from the filming of FYEO that you can browse while he makes you a Toast sandwich. Also, his bar is called Spiros Bond 007 Cafe. It is at the corner where Melina tipped over the 2CV.

Oh wow: I completely missed that Ferrari! And yeah you're right I think: a 2002 judging by the size of the glasshouse.
The Maserati is a Quattroporte IV rather than a Biturbo, but it is interesting how many old and classic cars are in this. An old classic Defender, classic mk1 Range Rovers, DB5, V8 Vantage, that 2002, the 308, the old Toyota.. it's maybe a bit car-heavy(!) but it should be fun to spot them all.

While in Paris the other day, I saw a Bentley convertible (complete with the winged B on the bonnet) passing me by.

And there's a Rover 75 parked near my building.

Thanks! I'd have loved to go there but as I'm with wife, mother and 2y/o and my wife's fallen ill, we haven't been able to do much. I'm the only one capable of driving here. Wanted to go to the fortress as well where bond shoots loque, but I only managed a far away picture. Oh well, good reason to return in a few years, when minime is a bit bigger and has seen the film too...
