That is intriguing too it has me worried.
Yes.
I’m astonished about this merging timelines idea. Do you guys really believe EoN would do such a stupid, crazy, pointless move?
And then I saw the rest and felt batter. I hope my DAD memory doesn’t turn out to be true.
Exactly....I thought so too....I've always felt NTTD was half-grounded, half over-the-top. If the balance is gotten right, it always turns out to be classic Bond. E.g GF,TLD, GE, etc. And I think at times, NTTD will feel like 2 films in one...making the 3hr thing true....coz it seems there's serious & more expansive globe-trotting this time around.
Really, it’s all for fun. I think ending with Bond meeting Sylvia Trench at the baccarat table, cutting to black after “Bond, James Bond” would not only be a good nod to the original film but also serve as a nifty bookend to how CR concluded with him introducing himself to Mr. White. It’s a way of saying that Bond is back in the game, as opposed to a literal lead-in for DR. NO. Then with Bond 26 they can take any direction they want which probably WON’T be remaking DR. NO.
I don't want to be negative, but I thought about DAD too. It's so obvious it's done with CGI. I hope that doesn't take me out of the film.
Overall I'm still looking forward to NTTD, very much so.
"zwigfzwigfssh is your choice"
He's been the voice inside Bond's head the entire time!
Super excited for No Time To Die to arrive. I think they've taken a lot of inspiration from Dr. No but I don't believe that Safin is in fact him. I would certainly have a preference for that not to be the case.
I'm loving all the Ken Adams references.
I mentioned this in another thread, but I'd argue this scene takes place after Bond's run in with SPECTRE. The shirt is clearly not a tab collar as it doesn't have a secondary button underneath the collar. Craig has almost always worn suspenders with his tuxedos since Casino Royale and that makes me think this takes place around the time of this image.
I love that Bond is wearing cocktails cuffs with a tuxedo again like Connery did in Dr. No. These were previously reintroduced in Spectre but only when wearing his suit in Rome.
The plane does look a bit too Brosnan era for me, personally.
It's obvious it says "It will be the dead of him."
Sorry, couldn't resist. ;)
"This was your choice." is what I hear. But you might just be making a point that it is difficult to understand what he is saying. :P
Yes, that's the DBS Superleggera of Nomi and Craig's outfit (with the exception of the N. Peal sweater) is practically the same, so that could very well be the case.
Can we put this to rest?
@antovolk it clearly says him. At least in this spot.
Does trailer editors actually know much about the script? :-? I doubt it to be honest. I still hear "him"
Your idea of continuity is having an Egyptian-American actor playing a bad guy with a Russian surname who turns out to be a classic Chinese villain from the Connery films, originally played by a Jewish Canadian thespian, all of this under the eye of a Japanese-American director?
As Julius No himself would say, "thumbs down". But, given Dr. No's fingers situation, it wouldn't translate well to an emoji.
That said, if this is representative of the outside ideas and speculation submitted to EON Productions, no wonder that Purvis and Wade have been able to make it for seven entries in a row.
Nope.
It sounds like him to me I must have lost my hearing them haha I wish I could get subtitles.
There must be two versions
1. I know Fukunaga mentioned this movie dealing with legacy which could explain our current M looking distraught at Dench's M like he is failing her legacy. as someone cleverly theorised in a previous post. The callbacks to Dr. No and Die Another Day might also be playing around with the idea of the Bond film franchise legacy and it's pressure.
2. Would anyone be able to tell me what Bond is doing in that shot when he walks out with the gun. I can't quite catch the movement?
3. Loving this footage.
I hear him as well. Maybe they are changing it on purpose. Like a real espionage ploy.
Both her and her array of sunglasses stole this trailer. I need more Nomi now!!!
:)) Brilliant! Don't forget he's also supposed to be
