Considering it's following the second longest gap in the series, most of which has been plagued by 'who should replace Daniel B.S." this poster desperately needs a "DANIEL CRAIG IS JAMES BOND" credit above the title.
Also, where's the PPK? He could use a little sparkle in his eyes, and we could have gotten something similar to the NSNA early poster.
I didn’t realise they were still doing them for CR.
Bond without the gun - worst idea EVER.
The type face is way too big for the composition of the image, and the image itself isn't particularly inspiring either. Craig is pulling a weird expression, and there is nothing in the backdrop that is attractive either.
Easily one of the worst teaser campaign posters I've seen for any major Hollywood release, not just for the Bond franchise. How this got the green light by all the top execs beats the hell out of me. Who could honestly look at that image and say `Yes, brilliant! This is the best we can offer as a teaser poster! Doesn't get any better than this!'
Utter shambles.
Haven't seen them since, so that might be the last time. Could be wrong about this though.
I agree. I’ve seen significantly better fan arts than this.
THIS!
They must’ve cut the advertising department budget as well. They hired a 16 year old with a pirated copy of Photoshop to paste some text over a production still is what it looks like.
Not even Photoshop. It looks like its been created in Microsoft Paint by a 6 year old.
I feel the same. When they released the photo of Craig in his dark shades, grey suit, striding confidently I couldn't share it enough, not so with this.
I actually think it’s far more interesting than the last few. The SP one is shite - it looks like someone’s turned up for their school photo with a holster. His expression in this, to me, is very much, ‘Who’s this c***?’.
Could be. Seems strange if Empire Design haven't been involved, but given that the poster looks very much like a movie still with the title logo and typography added, maybe their designers weren't needed for this particular piece.
This is Empire Design's project page for NTTD. You'd think anything they've done for the film will be included here (like any other project on their page). If this teaser isn't included there at any point, then it's very likely a confirmation it's done by Greg Williams alone (or in collaboration with someone else).
Edit: If he's the type to respond to Instagram messages/comments, maybe Greg Williams can confirm if he's done it with or without Empire Design?
Yes, someone on instagram could ask him. I'm not, so I can't, but it's a stellar idea as I think he's probably reachable/approachable.

This "poster" is a digital image for digital distribution. And that makes all the difference. It isn't really supposed to be a poster.
Welcome to the 21st century.
