Future M

I'm a big fan of the Dalton films, and here's a funny idea that I had. How would people feel if in the post-Craig films, Timothy Dalton played M. Firstly from an acting perspective he now plays that senior patriarch role very well, and it could be left to the imagination whether it is actually the same individual from TLD and LTK who later became M, or simply the production team's thing of bringing back actors for different roles that cement the Bond family thing.

Anyone like to see this idea or am I crossing the lines!?

I always thought TD would have been a great M. For the future M though, if it's female my picks would be Felicity Jones or Daisy Ridley. For now, I'm more than happy with Ralph Fiennes.

i always thought Colin Salmon would've made a good M - get promoted up like Robert Brown did..

Irdris Elba is another i could see as M..

Elba? I don't know if we want an M that looks like he could beat the bloody snot out of Bond.

i dont know - i think Bernard Lee could've taken Rog to task... and Dame Judi could probably bench press Brozzer :))
