    How can Lazenby in On Her Majesty's Secret Service be considered less Flemingesque then half of the films on that list? I mean, I'm at least basing what I'd consider the best Bond performance by that yardstick.

    I am absolutely baffled. Thought the fan community as a whole had learned to appreciate his fantastic performance in OHMSS. Unfortunately I was wrong. The way he handles that heart-breaking final scene alone is worth more than half of this list imo.

    I find his performance to be the weakest aspect of an otherwise excellent film. The dubbing with the Sir Hilary Bray actor, George Baker, is .. unfortunate.

    For the record, I appreciate every performance on this list. OHMSS is a brilliant film and there are many positive things to take away from Lazenby's appearance, including (but not limited to) his physicality, style and vulnerability. He showed great promise and perhaps the greatest "what if" of the entire series is what would've happened had he continued.

    With that being said, in a ranking exercise someone has to finish last and I cannot escape the fact that his acting skills are sometimes rather limited compared to the others. This is by no means a condemnation as it is a process of elimination. We are all obviously basing this on different sets of criteria and that's the fun of it.

    It's good to know that there are some very passionate Lazenby fans out there.
