    @Mathis1 and I have a different taste:
    TMWTGG isn't the best song but the one I like to listen to the most.
    LALD and Nobody does it better arec also good songs but the latter is a bit too slow that I would listen to it often.
    MR, FYEO and OP feature love songs which are a bit boring. Fortunately, Barry knows how to use these songs well as orchestral variations during the movies.
    AVTAK is much better than these songs but TMWTGG is my guilty pleasure and gets the Bondie.

    The klebbie goes to the most boring of the triple boredom songs: All time high.

    I actually interviewed Sheena Easton last year in advance of her performing in my town and she said FYEO is her most popular and requested song. I'd have thought it was 9 to 5/Morning Train as it's kind of her signature tune. She told me the popularity of Bond with various age groups has a lot to do with it.

    I think MR would have been a classic if Frank Sinatra had done it.

    As it is, it's one of the worst. Low energy and low key.

    Bondie: I liked them all quite a bit, although AVTAK is too noisy for me and sounds more like a video game with sound effects, but it's not my Klebbie, it's in the middle, but my pick would be MR, I liked the way Shirley Bassey sang the song, she's like storytelling, acting out the song through the way she sang her song, and Barry's score is great, it's beautiful, LALD is a great song, but some sections could've been cut, it's bombastic with fast beats that's suddenly gone mellow and it's been repetitive, and NDIB, a melodic song but it's a bit slow and discotheque, I also liked All Time High, but compared to other songs, it doesn't stand out, FYEO is probably the most popular Moore Bond theme, but Sheena Easton's voice was too high pitched.

    Klebbie: TMWTGG, still one of the worst Bond themes, the introduction was okay, but once Lulu starts to sing, it goes downhill from there full of cringiness, it's just too whimsical, just bad.

    Well it seems the academy has come to its wise decision.

    Lets give out the Klebbie first, the worst theme song to a Roger Moore Bond film is...The Man With the Golden Gun accepting the award to Sir With Love is Lulu!

    On to the Bondie side, the best theme song to a Roger Moore Bond film is...Live and Let Die accepting the award is Sir Paul McCartney!

    Wow, here is the vote break down:
    • Live and Let Die received 7 Bondie votes and none for Klebbie
    • TMWTGG received 1 Bondie vote and 8 Klebbie votes
    • Nobody Does It Better received 2 votes for Bondie and none for Klebbie
    • Moonraker received 3 votes for Bondie and 2 for Klebbie
    • FYEO received 1 vote for Bondie and 3 votes for Klebbie
    • All Time High received zero votes for Bondie and 4 votes for Klebbie
    • AVTAK received 3 votes for Bondie and 0 votes for Klebbie

    LALD, NDIB and AVTAK received no Klebbies. All Time High was the only theme to not receive a Bondie vote.

    All right lets take the remaining songs along with some un-official songs and come up with a Bondie and Klebbie.

    Another "Blondie", @peter ? Isn't Debbie Harry getting too old for that?

    Anyway, I don't think instrumentals are "songs", so I'll vote for something with vocals. The Bondie for LTK, the Klebbie - well, ok - for NSNA. Though it is still better than five or six theme songs of the official series.

    The 1967 soundtrack isn't that bad if you can appreciate the era and the groove of Mr. Burt Bacharach. The one with the lyrics is a bit over the top!

    Don't think I ever heard this version. It is definitely not on my soundtrack album. I don't remember (though I think I would) if it is actually in the movie.

    Time for us to reveal our Bondie and Klebbie!

    The Bondie for best song is On Her Majesty's Secret Service from the film of the same name.

    The Klebbie for worst song is Never Say Never Again from the film of the same name.

    Good stuff, the voting shows us that Licence to Kill and The Living Daylights were the only other songs to garner a Bondie vote. LTK received 2 votes and TLD received three.

    On the Klebbie side of things, LTK received 1 vote and CR 67 received 1 vote.

    Time for us to move on, lets dive into the world of the Pre Title Sequences. Lets hit the Connery era and see which one should take home a Bondie. The nominees are:
    • FRWL Bond is seen in the moonlight in a garden, but wait he is hunted by another man. Shock, our man is strangled to death. No he's not, this man was wearing the mask of Bond. Whew! This teases the movie that is to come.
    • GF Bond is front and centre, first with a pigeon on his head and then with a woman by his side. A fight and the line of the movie, for some, "shocking, positively shocking."
    • TB A coffin the initials, it' can't be...oh it's not! Bond quickly deduces that the dude looks like a lady and soon a fight takes place. A jet pack makes an appearance!
    • YOLT A space walk, where is Bond? A glorious soundtrack and my lifeline is cu....Bond in the arms of a woman. Our man is about to be served duck, but instead gets bullets. This time Bond is dead in the PTS.
    • DAF An international PTS as Bond is seen in Japan, Cairo and finally wherever Marie is found. Once she gets something off her chest, Bond makes mud pies and kills Blofeld. Wow a short PTS packs quite a bit.
    • NSNA Lets throw in the un-official one too. Theme song combines with action. As Hall regales us with her voice, Connery reminds us of a physical Bond who offs many before taking a knife in the ribs.

    My dear academy members, which one is getting your Bondie for the best PTS in a Connery movie. Will you choose one that features Bond the most, or one that has other elements? Give me your Klebbie too. Which PTS deserves a kick in the shins, you can abstain from voting for the Klebbie if you wish.
