The James Bond Algorithm

If anyone had ever had trouble trying to rank all 24 films, this algorithm really helps. You're just prompted to select one out of two films you'd rather watch and that results in a ranking. The results of my ranking was super close to one I actually did myself awhile back, with maybe one film or two slightly shifted. The way I conducted this test was to actually pick the film I thought was better, as opposed to what I wanted to watch. Sometimes I want to watch DAF over other films, but that doesn't mean I think it's better than FRWL.

Definitely doing this, thanks! Never done a ranking for myself as it’s always felt too daunting.

    On Her Majesty's Secret Service
    Casino Royale
    GoldenEye
    From Russia with Love
    Skyfall
    Quantum of Solace
    Goldfinger
    Dr. No
    Licence to Kill
    For Your Eyes Only
    Spectre
    The Spy Who Loved Me
    The Living Daylights
    Live and Let Die
    Tomorrow Never Dies
The Man with the Golden Gun
    Thunderball
    Die Another Day
    You Only Live Twice
    Moonraker
    The World Is Not Enough
    A View to a Kill
    Diamonds Are Forever
    Octopussy

I could live with this ranking but I might do it again tomorrow with a fresh mind. Many of the pairings were tougher than I thought they’d be. I voted by “which film do I enjoy more generally” rather than “which do I want to watch now” or “which do I think is objectively better”.
