  • I wanna see:
    -A LOT of action scenes
    -A love scene
    -A car or vehicle chase
Villain: A mean sort of guy, preferably Russian.
    Car: Aston Martin DB5
Country: Russia and/or other former Soviet countries

The above scene won't be the introduction to the film. This will all happen around scene 27 - 34. As we know, the PTS looks to be set in Turkey.

I'm just going off of this. Probably looked too deep into it.

Well we know the Aston will return in some context, but it is almost certain that Russia won't feature in Skyfall. Other than that you have a very high chance of getting the rest of your wishes.
  • They need to play up that Bond is British. It seems like the Bond producers are ashamed of Bond being British. Bond being British is one of the best things about Bond. I'm not saying they have to have Craig ski off a mountain and open up a Union Jack parachute (although the Bond series could use a good Bond moment like that), but audiences need to be reminded that Bond is British. Being british is what spereates him from other action stars.

Oh, and have a good script. That helps.

I want to see Bond spend the whole movie in London! Just walking around, driving with M, talking with people on top of buildings, wearing long coats in the cold grey rainy weather, maybe once in a while getting some dust on him and breaking out into a run, but mostly, yeah, just getting in and out of cars, looking grim. I'm tired of the whole exotic world travel thing, it's just been done to death. And please, no big action scenes of any kind either - that was the OLD, less mature Bond movies, times have changed. I've been so glad that halfway trough filming there doesn't appear to be any exterior action set-pieces! Thank God.

So far, I couldn't be any happier with what I'm seeing - this looks to be the Bond movie of my dreams! Now if they just don't do anything exciting by accident...

Yeah, we haven't seen that yet...

The gun barrel should have the Dr No sounds at the beginning before it launches into Norman's 007 theme seeing it's the 50th Anniversary and everything. This would be cool.

To me, classic Bond is having the gun barrel at the beginning and a film that isn't as fast paced and action oriented as QOS and the Brosnan films where we have more panned out scenes with some decent dialogue exchanges between Bond and the villain, longer shots of Bond driving his Aston, doing some investigating and imaginative, more fairy tale type sets. If classic Bond means cheesy one liners and gadgets then I'm not into it. It's quite possible that this film will be yet another let down for me personally. CR is the only good film since the Dalton era. In terms of the humour, this is the darker, Flemingsque Craig era so it definitely shouldn't have more humour than Casino Royale (2006) has, and the gadgets should be realistic and subtle.

    Hello.
I would like to see in Skyfall...
    A Gunbarrel at the beginning.please
A PTS with a homage to Dr. No. Maybe Bond playing poker ( i heard is was playing poker somewhere in the movie)...but that is asking to much or, if it is somewhere else( a train sequence) ...at least the words " Bond James bond"
    Vodka Martini. Shaken not stirred
I'd like to see this bond movie to be more of a spy film rather then a action film...but that is seems impossible to.
Good action sequences ( not to much)
A less violent Bond, but still rutheless
A good climax scene with a classic talk between Bond and the villain ending in an awesome shootout like...like...maybe....GoldenEye if I am correct
I like the idea of the DB5 coming back and also the idea of M's past coming back to haunt her. That will be cool to see
And also a good title track and the use of the bond theme in the course of the movie.
  • I agree with a lot that has been posted above. A wee bit of snobbery would be nice. Nothing is more 'Flemingesque' than a bit of snobbery from Bond. Some call it snobbery, I'm sure he would call it 'high standards'.

The MGM lion and then the gun barrell straight into a bit of action, then the one liner that leads into the ttle sequence.
Also I would like some cheaper replica props out after the film, someone to get a licence to do say a 10 props collection of items that are used in the film.

What I would like 2 see in the next Bond film is:

Bond wearing a white tux (Goldfinger, Octopussy).

Shirley Bassey coming back for a forth James Bond theme song.

James Bond throwing his fedora hat when he enters M's office.

James Bond wearing his Royal Navy uniform (You Only Live Twice, The Spy Who Loved Me, Tomorrow Never Dies).

Having one of the Bond girls say the classic line " Oh...James!!!"

Bring back the "007" theme song.

Maybe not in this Bond film but I would like to see Bond get brainwashed and sent to kill M like in the book "The Man with the Golden Gun". It would make a good pre title sequence and Bond would have 2 prove his loyalty to M and MI6 that he can be trusted. In the book it was SMERSH who brainwashed Bond, so to update it I figure QUANTUM would be the culprits and Bond goes after them in Bond 24 maybe call it Risico. This time Bond is determined to take them down.
  • Opening Gunbarrel and more "Bond" themed music in the score.

    But nobody wears hats anymore.

I'd like to see a gambling scene and a torture scene--those are the essence of Fleming's Bond.

Yes, good point echo. Bring on the bacarrat gambling! Another torture scene would go down a treat too. Very Flemingsque, these two things.

As far as Bond themed music goes, I prefer it in more subtle doses. It's so well known now that huge, long belts of it take me out of the film a bit.

    "But nobody wears hats anymore."

I do. :) A black, felt Trilby with a black ribbon.

The literary Bond doesn't though so this is something I don't really care about. I wouldn't mind seeing Bond wear a hat but unfortunately the Eon gang insist on keeping it ultra modern. I liked how they put Vesper in a hat. To bad they cut out the scene though. We only saw a fleeting glimpse of it as she hopped into the taxi.

What I didn't like how was in one of the Moore films (can't remember which one), Bond threw his hat on to the hook but we never saw him actually wear it in the film. If he's going to do this then he must wear it in atleast one or two scenes depending on their length.

"James Bond wearing his Royal Navy uniform (You Only Live Twice, The Spy Who Loved Me, Tomorrow Never Dies)."

Definitely! I would really like to see Craig in this attire. To bad we never saw Dalton in the Navy threads.

"Having one of the Bond girls say the classic line " Oh...James!!!""

    This would be funny.

    Just 007 things
    -Gunbarrel
-OHMSS alike title sequence (with images from previous flims)
-Someone whistling Goldfinger's theme song (like in OHMSS)
    -Craig wearing uniform
-Dench NOT leaving the role (which most surely won't happen)
-Making us think Bond is dead in the PTS (TB, YOLT)
-No more tributes than mentioned in this post..

    White tux, okay.

    Shirley Bassey, NO.

Fedora, I don't know anybody who wears a fedora anymore, but why not?

RN uniform, sure. It'd at least prove to us that he was in the Navy, because some people didn't read his offical bio page on the Casino Royale website.

    "Oh, James!" Probably not.

    007 Theme, yes.

Also, Bond getting brainwashed and having to prove his loyalty to M would go against what we know about the plot of the movie, which is M's past coming back to haunt her, and her trying to prove her loyalty to Bond.

    and a torture scene

While that is very Fleming, I feel that the writers will avoid that until at least 25, simply due to the popularity of Casino Royale and the recognition of its torture scene. They wouldn't want Craig to be known as the Bond who kicked ass but always got caught.
  • I agree with most of the fans, We need to see the classic Gunbarrel at the beginning of the film, the return of fliritng withMoneypenny, The AMDB5, A really Cool henchman like OddJob, and possibly the Return of Blofeld and SPECTRE.

If the girl, on camera with Bond, says this to him, sort of as an in-joke, it could be a really funny way to end a film with both Bond and her laughing at how silly it is. I'd like that.

Yeah, going by the synopsis and some of the pics, it seems like the film is more about her than anyone else except for maybe Bond. Seems like Dench is the Bond girl in this one. She is a talented actress so I don't suppose I can blame them all for wanting to take advantage of her acting skills.

Having M say "Oh, James" would really make this line funny. As we always hear it from Bond girls saying it, it would definitely add a twist by having M say it, but it could probably work if Bond says something that M doesn't like and she shakes her head and says "Oh, James".

I know Bond won't get brainwashed in this one, I just wanted to see the concept of it in a future Bond film. Now, I would like to see them end Skyfall when Bond already beat Javier Bardem and the mission is over, show Bond getting capture somewhere by someone who works for Quantum, and show him getting brainwashed and we find out that his objective is to kill M, like in the book "The Man with the Golden Gun". That's when they should end Skyfall with this kind of cliffhanger that will be resolved in Bond 24.

I've written this elsewhere, but it would be really great to see them--finally--film the end of YOLT and the beginning of TMWTGG. Perhaps for Bonds 24 and 25.

Some decent dialogue would be nice. Dialogue that lasts for an admirable amount of time - the case, Bond chatting about his appreciation for fine food and wine, the villain and Bond girl talking about their background history while having dinner with Bond. Pigs might fly too. Okay, we'll hear a bit about the case around all the action scenes.
