plus no writers strike. that can piss on their parade anymore - there seem very litte similarities here to me.
QOS was NOT the fault of P&W, it was the sad timeline, that didn't allow them to finish their script. I believe, even the least actor knows, starting a film with an unfinsidhed script, is a very bad thing - so now multilicate that to a monster like Bond. They were screwed..
But in non favour of Forster - hadn't he cut the thing like a crazy man, it would have still been a worthwhile film. My humble two...
But I believe, THIS was the probloem, they would have loved to have more drama, more playground for him to actually ACT, but the script wasn't given them a platform to do this, so they stuffed it with action ( great action even, but cut too fast). Just remember the roof top chase. This could have been a gem, but by cutting, they turned it into some ***(can't even thing of a name). On top - DC was even doing it himself and STILL they cut him off and showed just his legs at some point. Now how stupid and contraproductive is that? The guy was throwing himself into the action, getting severe injuries just to see his efforts end on the cutting floor.
I admire, how he was still able to do a friendly "uncut Q&A "with this guy. (Forster)
