    ‎Independently published. Didn't mention Canada.

    Adding some detail.

A tale of the famed James Bond and his affinity for trouble with SPECTRE. In Ian Flemings book, "On Her Majesties Secret Service", the first paragraph mentions a secret book. The War Book is a handwritten book keeping the secrets of her Majesties government. Only three people know about it; the Prime Minister, M and Moneypenny. What would happen if SPECTRE has the information? How about expanding the love interest between Bond and Moneypenny by going on their first date? What if they kidnap Moneypenny to auction for it? Of course Bond would go after them with the vengeance of the killer he is. The chase around the world to find the War Book, the encounter trouble and a new love. Q provides the finest rides, empowering him to have an equalizer to the treachery of SPECTRE.

The grammar in the book's description, presumably written by the book's author, is very odd. I don't have high hopes for this.

Yes, and Marsaille. Austrailia. Bond's never been to those places.

No one has. But I kid.

That summary feels a tad odd, doesn't it? Very amateurish even.
  • Guys, it's self-published. Any one of us could write a story about James Bond and put it up on Amazon as well. This is the kind of thing that would probably fly under IFP's radar, but given how protective they are of their rights it will likely be pulled once they catch wind of it.

Even a self-publisher can use Spell Check, and a Grammar checker. Not to mention ask someone else to read it and comment -- a friend as editor, in other words.
