Perhaps my next Bondathon, whenever that will be, will yield different results, but I feel pretty confident with this order for now. CR is the finest film this series ever produced for my money, one of my all-time favorite movies I never tire of. SF is a fantastic installment with excellent standalone value, and IMO it did the best job of all 5 films of feeling like both classic and modern James Bond at the same time. QOS is brisk and action-packed, and while it doesn’t reach the highs of CR or SF, for me it’s very rewatchable and special in my heart as the first Bond I saw at the theater and even wrote my final college paper about. NTTD is a worthy sendoff for Craig, even though I wasn’t crazy about every artistic decision; it’s still got great, intense action, gorgeous cinematography, and does an admirable job salvaging the baggage of SP. And then SP, while not entirely devoid of good points, is a distant last mainly because of the third act, which was questionable story-writing all over to say the least.

I only rank QOS last because it doesn't feel like a finished film. It's like getting a juicy piece of fried chicken, only to discover its 70% bone.
4. Quantum of Solace - Gets better each time; but I rarley get the urge to watch the film.
3. No Time To Die - Features some of the best moments in Craig’s tenure; but also has some of my least favorite moments in Craig’s tenure.
2. Skyfall - Solid Top Tier Bond despite my few gripes.
1. Casino Royale - “The Bees Knees”

Great films though - the first three are all in my top 5 and the last two are about mid-tier.

I'm resolute in saying NTTD was a big disappointment but that's only from one viewers perspective, can realize many actually thought it were great, however (I) just felt betrayed by the end.
QOS remains in last position due to muddled plot, asinine storyline, abysmal theme song, camera swinging from one place to the next, ridiculous set-pieces more tailored to an Abbott and Costello sketch. It were a train wreck then, and will just about continue to be so.

Pretty much, and interestingly I have the same pattern with Brosnan's films.
Yeah, that's it.
Yeah. But I think with Brosnan's Bond, it's more tricky. Because some fans prefer TND to GE and some also prefer DAD to TWINE.

Although Craig is my least favourite actor in the JB role, all in all, I'd say the Craig era was a success, with one film too many. Had it have been a four film run, it'd have worked much better for me. I know SPECTRE disappointed many, but it ticked enough Bond boxes for me to be on board with it, and dearly wish the ending we got in SP was the way the Craig era ended. Bond triumphant, in London, in his DB5, driving off into the distance with a beautiful girl.
Works for me.
