    Both SP and QOS have nasty shortcomings. albeit on totally different levels. That's why I'd tie these two at the bottom end of the Craig era, but they are still solid mid-field of the entire franchise.

    Yes, I rate it that highly although Skyfall is a very close third. I'm a big Spectre fan so it's position shows how highly I rate the others. Quantum is defo flawed but still has some classic Bondian moments.

    I have, due to the former. I don't mind, though; I think the older I get, the less spoilers seem to bother me. I caught one or two really big spoilers on here opening night while moderating some threads, which certainly gave me pause and concern, but I've started to sort of warm to the idea of what I've read and think it'll help me (possibly) enjoy the film even more in three days time. I certainly hope so, anyway. I need to see this film already, I'm tired of waiting!

    I haven't seen NTTD yet but it seems the average consensus is the movies falls in the middle. Interesting.

    NTTD being #2 on my overall list IS it being in the top spot as far as I'm concerned. It is impossible for a Bond film to come above Casino Royale for me. Casino Royale is in my top 25 films of all time, among company such as Ran, In the Mood for Love, Raging Bull...even if another Bond film gets a perfect 10 from me, which OHMSS has occasionally had and which NTTD could very well be upgraded to, there could still be as many as 300 spots in my overall film list separating it from CR.

    For NTTD… I’m expecting a 3rd place, hoping for a 2nd, and will be a very happy camper with a 4th place. I can’t see anything topping Casino Royale for me - I can never divorce it from the time and circumstance it arrived in my life. It’s too personal. That being said, all of Craig’s films fall into my top 11…

    I will have to see the film a couple of more times before I can rank it, but the question is whether it will nick SF's spot as my second favorite Craig film. It is an undisputed top 10 film for me overall, although it is too early to say exactly where it will end up.
