Tempus Fugit....this might be appropriate, since time would fly before Bond 26 comes out.

Thanks for replying, @CommanderRoss . I like the way your brain thinks!!

@SecretAgentMan⁰⁰⁷ thanks for answering, and thanks for the question. The answer from me is: all the time!! I'll pepper scripts with a few lines I've loved from the series... For example, there's a script I had that made a splash on the festival competition circuit, and it won a bunch of prizes (and we are closing in on a director), and a crooked cop sells my protagonist a bunch of weaponry. As he packs all of these killing machines (now in silver cases), into the trunk of her car, he says to her, "there you go. Everything for a woman going on holiday"...

I've been inspired by villains, or action sequences that I turn into my own... But yes, 007's DNA can be found in my work, 😂!!!

Wait 'till you get to my teeth.

    Sorry, couldn't resist.

    Teething problems

Is probably a better title for young Bond.

    What Sharp Eyes

    Licensed Troubleshooter

There are a lot of potential titles knocking around in the TB script (one of the better ones, dialogue-wise)...

Questions to all of the people participating: when thinking of a title, do you first imagine the tone of the film, then fit a title to that?

Do you think of tone, and a basic story, then a title?

Or jump straight to a title that sounds Bond-like?

Two based on titles that be given to operation plans of Fleming with Operatie Mincemeat is to difficult to use. Whyle You Only Live Twice get inspiration from it and alternate American title The Man Who Never Was is mabey easier to use. Mincemeat in my opinion sound German for Mousepat (Dutch for Muismat). I get inspiration for qoute from title and element.

Operation Ruthless is my favorite on the moment and Bruce Feirstein used plan inspiration for Tomorrow Never Dies. Operation Ruthless: Save Our Souls and Operation Ruthless: Distant From Home, i created two subtitles with the title.

My last title suggestion Sea Of Fire is based on John Gardner Seafire. The book end in my collection and NTTD include Seafire. Little plot discription of the book turn out match a bit from what i like to see next and be line with Daniel Craig era. Never Send Flowers is another Gardner title.

My overall favorite Fleming titles a couple of years a go including Gardner Never Send Flowers (who include Flemings Licence To Kill)

    1. Operation Ruthless
    2. Risico
    3. Property Of A Lady
    4. Bird with a wings down
    5. Hildebrand Rarity
    6. The Man Who Never Was (alternate title of Operation Mincemat)
    7. Shaken Not Stirred
    8. 007 In New York
    9. Never Send Flowers
    10. Mr Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
    11. Operation Mincemeat

Shaken Not Stirred will possible higher now and some of them lower.

    Self created titles:

    Eyes Set To Kill
    Legend To Die For
    Shortcut To War
    For Royal Service
Doubleminded Spy (The Spy With Two Mind of souls)
    Too Fly With Me
    Death Has No Season
    The Shell
    Sand In The Eyes
    The Greene Dynasty
The Rise Of The Beast Within
(The) Death Will Never Say Sorry

Death Has No Season inspired by alternate NTTD title ''A Reasen To Die''. From Reasen i made Season and rest is plot based. Death will not quite because it is summer. And don't liked A season to die so i turn it a bit.

Sometimes visuals and music helping moving forward, but it start with plot and the times being a Bondfan helps too. Sand In The Eyes is example of that. QOS did the rest. Lies, believes and mirrors that is what Sand In The Eyes is about. Another fairytale there use the story of Sandman (Dutch: Klaas Vaak).

Nah, they suck. I think I was listening to SFA and lyrics where "something comes from nothing".
