How about Gabriel Diabolik, Agent 666? :)
No, I think I may have invented it. :)
The villain in the novel and film of Modesty Blaise is called Gabriel so I think I pinched it from there. Diabolik - I'm not sure where I got that from exactly but both names were inspired by your mention of the Devil. It does sound like a villain from a Bond film parody a bit.
I had a name for a Star Wars story I was thinking about, "Rykard Sever", a cool name I thought.
Apotheosis would be a good word to use somehow, although it is a mouthful. Apotheosis Protocol? Only one fewer syllable than "On Her Majesty's Secret Service", which could be a problem. The story could be about eugenics somehow. There's an "immortal" jellyfish that refreshes all of it's cells to become young again, some villain could try to appropriate this technology for human use, SPECTRE logo looks like a jellyfish... come on EON the possibilities are endless lol

Yes, it's a very strange name (says someone called Dragonpol!) but apparently they were going for his name sounding like "Lucifer Satan". There is a fine line between creativity and parody and I think they may have crossed it with a name like "Lyutsifer".
Apotheosis is a good word. I could see that used in the title of a Robert Ludlum thriller! :)
Totally. Not a huge fan. I maintain that in NTTD, Blofeld should have escaped and had a scene where he murders Safin, and takes over as the villain with the Garden of Death.

And i found some interesting results that i thought i could put here:
- SilverHeart (I actually didn't know that was one of the results when i suggested it for the first time).
- MoonFall (I think someone already suggested it, right?)
- Instructed To Kill (Wait, didn't i already suggested that?)
- IceFall (Hmm...)
- FireBreaker (Hmm...)
It is, which is why I favoured 'Diamond Heart'. It was a rejected title for By Royal Command later used as a chapter title. It has the right cadence, but the more I think about it the less I like it. I can see why it was rejected, for one By Royal Command is just infinitely better. Diamond Heart feels a little too much like a parody of a Bond title. Whereas SilverFin works because Fin is a word that you don't naturally associate coming after Silver, it's the juxtaposition which creates intrigue.
I remember before NTTD was announced the title Eclipse was rumoured. I think that would be good. It was interesting to see it pop up in the Sounds Of 007 documentary.
Quarrel Jnr approves of this title. Baron Samedi does not.
