    It's funny but that never occurred to me, though I can see now how it would have that fantasy type of association for some people. I was more thinking it as something a Bond villain or M or Bond himself would say in the interests of justice or whatever - pursuing someone or something to "the ends of the earth."

    The first thing I thought about was Middle-Earth, when I saw it. But great title still.

    That was the last thing on my mind to be honest. Not a big fan of fantasy you see although I of course recognise Tolkien's place in English literature. I actually heard it said on BBC Radio 4 during a report about the head of MI6's one speech of the year. So I thought it was quite appropriate for inclusion in this thread even though it may well have been mentioned before.

    Oh, that's nice. Sounds an interesting origin of a title. Sure, Tolkien is a top master of fantasy in the literary world.

    Yes, I'm often inspired by things I hear on the radio or TV and then I post it or a variant of it here as a prospective Bond 26 title. :)

    Me too! I was watching a film earlier where someone said ‘The Luxury of Dying’, and I thought that was a bit Bondy!

    That reminds me of Goldeneye, when Trevelyan meets Bond again, he says Bond's parents had "the luxury of dying" in a climbing accident. Very Bondian

    I think it's better to let the Die titles rest for a while now, until, let's say 20 years into the future, when Bond 27 releases in theaters.

    I think the words Die & Live are the two most basic Bond words in a Bond title. So Bond fans don't get tired of them. Instead, it creates an almost palpable feeling of excitement, when Bond fans around the world hear those words in a Bond title.

    Watching a documentary series about sharks and I just learned that their camouflage method is called countershading. Now like Thunderball, GoldenEye and Moonraker, it's a word that exists, but don't think many people know its real meaning. It could apply to espionage somehow. So could it work as a Bond title?

    Nah, I don't think it's really good, but at least we stick to the music theme here.

    In this line of thinking Gustav's organisation should've been 'Handel' so DAD could be called 007 in 'handelling his weapon'
