Sorry, I'd forgotten all about this.

Your comment in the first post are my main feelings "The story just didn't cut it".

It wasn't up to scratch with the last game. There were some great moments but as a story, compared to the last game it was too much of the same. I even played the second game afterwards to check the age old saying "the memory cheats" - and it didn't.

It seemed like halfway through, the story just swapped Charlie and Chloe for Elena. The on-again-off-again between her and Nate did annoy a bit but the nods to past adventures were nice. There were more motivations between the characters last time, this time, not a lot or nothing at all, thinking about it.

The villain was weak and the action was set piece after set piece and though all were good I didn't feel as if any topped the best moments of Uncharted 2.

You would think I am disappointed and didn't like the game but I did, it was great. I would give it 9/10, it's just in a series this good, it didn't live us to what has gone before. Story is King.

I should expand further but those are my initial thoughts. Quiz me on anything @0BradyM0Bondfanatic7 and I'll answer.

Spot on overview @Samuel001, and my basic thoughts. If you could pick a favorite part of the game as well as a least favorite, what would they be? What one thing mad you crazy angry and how did you like the ending?

The ending was great. In fact, why not leave the series there? It comes full circle.

My favorite part was the start, it's a new adventure and at that point, could have been the best of the series. Seeing everyone again gave a real kick to the goings on.

My least favourite was the cargo plain stunt, sure it looked top rate but I've seen it somewhere before... and a certain unneeded character that come afterwards. The horses were great mind, very Indy 3 but again, you could argue it's been done better elsewhere. Some of those end fights in the dessert were tough, they were most difficult to complete.
