I went to one of the premieres for TND back in the day in the Odeon Leicester Square and there was applause for the gunbarrel. I’ve never seen the like before or since.
1, Bond and M in the castle before Bond runs off to save King.
2, The exposition scene with the floating head. Tanner and Bond are really good in this scene.
3, Q's final scene (minus Cleese pratting about)
4, Brosnan's performance throughout is strong.
5, "have you ever lost someone?" Is a nice moment.
6, I like the banker scene and Bond's inventive escape, utterly implausible but enjoyable non the less.
7, Bond killing Davidof from the car boot.
8, Bond's tie take down of the guy at the bar.
In fact, thanks for this thread it has made me want to watch TWINE again.
Which is why my first choice is there
1. Electra enters the casino in the red dress. It just hits me every time, she looks so lovely.
Good to see Zukovsky back, and Robbie Coltraine's scene stealing performance. One line, when he enters his factory and sees Christmas Jones sprawled across his sofa.
2. Who are you, and how did you get in? I'll call security and congratulate them.
So well delivered by Coltraine. Makes me laugh every time.
When Bond is hanging from the hot air balloon, and Cigar Girl shoots the canister?
3. Bond falls onto the dome and hangs from a rope which brings in the opening bars to the title song (which I do love).
I always remember on first viewing that this image of Bond thrilled me. It seemed so epic and Bond appeared to be in perilous danger as the credits began (first time since YOLT). Still a favourite moment of PTS into credits.
That is a very cool moment.
Don't skirt the issue, @LeonardPine!
