Here I am, just a couple weeks after saying I planned on shelving the films for a long time and going back to some early classics. I think I’ve discovered that I now enjoy watching these movies more at random and outside of marathons. Had a lot more fun with GF the other day, and just had to go with OHMSS as the go-to Bond Christmas Classic.

And thus completes my marathon with all available commentaries from the 50 year anny collection. Will be finishing with the last Skyfall Mendes commentary tonight while doing my year end re-ranking. I wish all the Craig's had commentaries, as it ended on a flat note with no SP or NTTD commentary track. Ah well maybe I can hold at hope that extras like this make a resurgence.

I wonder if they recorded a NTTD commentary before Fukunaga had to go quiet. Could always just get Daniel and the producers.

Slipping in one last post before the years over 'done'. Best viewing of SF yet - watched it in parts over the course of about three nights and had a blast. Best stretch is still Shanghai/Macau (add in the art gallery meeting with Q) all the way through to sailing off to Dead Island, helped greatly by no annoying cutting back to the MI6 team in between. Then the London Underground scenes are fun with a fair bit of humour and because I have a thing for trains. Amazing sets all around.

Hoping @Crazysoul95 makes a return to begin the Bond meter 2023.
It's been his thread for many years, and I'd like that tradition to continue.

I hope so too, for I think I'll pop in a dvd in a bit...

Nice to see so much actual appreciation for QoS here, dispite so many still claiming it's a flawed film.

Probably an early lead for NTTD, which got its UK TV premiere last night!

Nice to see Craig win two years in a row…

I like the inclusion of Nelson and Niven because well I was tired of seeing Lazenby keep getting last place

Later on today I will watch Casino Royale 54 it’s my usual tradition to make it the first bond movie to watch

I've PM'd @Crazysoul95 regarding starting the 2023 thread for this.
Looking at his profile he's not been active since September 2022, but alas I think we will have to proceed with this in the coming days.
