Sadly, @Max_The_Parrot isn't active anymore on this forum. He was a funny fellow and I met him in Berne after his trip to Piz Gloria. He is a HUGE fan of MR. It is definitely his favourite Bond movie (also mentioned a lot on the forum). He could be added to the list.

What happened to @Max_The_Parrot ? Do you know why he doesn't post anymore @goldenswissroyale ? He was quite active for a longtime, then dropped off.
I believe it absorbed too much of his time and he decided to spend more time with Bond books and other "laptop free" stuff for a while. Unfortunately, he didn't return . I have to write him, such a likeable guy.

    Do that. He is missed.

Live and Let Die is my favourite Bond film. Roger was pure class and perfect for taking over after Connery.

LALD isn’t my personal favourite but it’s top five, and it’s great to see that someone ranks it as #1.

Casino is my favorite Bond film. But I hype Quantum the most because it's severely underrated, so put me under Quantum, yes.

Very interesting that the most successful Bond film to date is the only Craig entry yet to receive a vote.

Yes, SF is, for whatever reason, not as much a fan favourite. In my experience though it's the sort of movie younger viewers and people who don't usually care about Bond movies gravitate towards. Honestly, after viewing NTTD with people my age (not all of them Bond fans) many of them essentially said 'it wasn't as good as SF'.

I mean, FRWL is my pick just because I've seen it more times (and I think the script is stronger) but I do think SF is an extraordinary Bond film and have no problem putting it second in my rankings.

Wouldn't you really prefer, in the long run, to have your favourite represented though? I mean I'll put your name where you want it but Quantum WILL get its votes eventually.

To me, TMWTGG is a non-elite Bond film that still proves a mid-level Bond film is better than most other entertainment ;)

I think when the sumo wrestlers show up it goes from being "maybe the best Bond movie" to "a good Bond movie".

Best and favourite are two separate things for me though, I don't think all my favourite films are flawless/can be considered as 'one of the best films ever'. Some of them could, but definitely not all of them. TMWTGG is such a film, heavily flawed but I'd still call it one of my favourites.

Oh, I love TMWTGG! I was only meaning to highlight how great the first 50 minutes are.

I've slightly warmed to TMWTGG over the last few years but it's still near the bottom for me. I desperately want to love it every time I watch it, much like TND, but can never seem to fully embrace it. It has its moments, though (Bond and Pepper teaming up is one of the biggest highlights for me).

That's a blast from the past! I wonder what happened to him? He hasn't been on here since August 2020.

@M16_Cart just doing a double check on QOS vs CR for you. Quantum has its fervent supporters on here, so don't feel bad about picking your true favourite.

CR > QOS. But QOS is very good.

Yeah, I'll put you down for CR. With how great the turnout here has been, QoS will surely get those who have it at #1 coming out in support of it.

@goldenswissroyale informed me recently that a few comments on my absence had been made, so here I am popping in to say hello. Thank you for putting forward my vote for MR I'm delighted to be keeping the Moonraker end up for the group. And thanks for the kind words, it was never my intention to take such a long break, but alas 'stuff happens' and then the longer you are away, the harder it is to come back, with so much time having passed I wasn't sure if my sudden reappearance would be welcomed or not. Resurrection and all that. Again, my re-emergence from semi-retirement is likely to be short-lived, with occasional sporadic tweets from time to time, but be reassured I enjoy(ed) my time here and enjoy(ed) interacting with you guys. Again, any departure on my part isn't permanent, don't delete me! :D

Disappointed to see poor Roger doesn't do too well so far on this list, I was definitely expecting a vote for TSWLM from someone.
