This would have been a wonderful Bond theme, a bit similar like AWTD but of course much better, superb Bond melody and good singer.

This was written for SPECTRE, yes? Can't see why they chose Smith over her. I think when the movie comes out on Blu-Ray, the title sequence should be uploaded with this track overlaid on it.
Maybe a decent Instrumental is the way next? How about the eerie and dark Edge of Darkness by Eric Clapton?

Yes I thought about this one too. It really sounds like a Bond song unlike most of the songs that are mentioned here.
