The pantheon of absolute hotties ...

1960s: Ursula, Daniella, Tania Mallet, Claudine, Akiko ...

1970s: Jane, Caroline Munro, Corinne Cléry ...

1980s: err... ?? Maybe it was the hair. Ok, Talisa Soto

    1990s: Izabella, Famke, Sophie ...

    2000s: Caterina, Olga, Bérénice, Ana

Only one rule: Americans should never be Bond Girls, just not exotic enough ... also would apply to Canadians, if there had been any except Miss Moneypenny herself.

Blind spots: Carole Bouquet, Maude Adams, and most of all, Maryam D'Abo ...

For those who are in Paris right now, Caterina Murino is playing the main female lead in a play called Pège pour un Homme seul (Trap for a single Man) at the Théâtre de la Michodière.

Talk about wishful thinking: I actually read 'Michodière' as 'Manchester' and thought 'Oh, wow - 35 miles away. I'm going!' :))

I've just had a brainwave, based on the last exchange "next time, stay longer" that Paloma says to Bond, there's really no reason why Paloma couldn't be brought back as a main Bond girl (or even just a recurring side character) and I even think such a move would be welcomed by movie goers who enjoyed her in the last movie. Sure, Bond died, but she didn't, she presumably is still an agent out there. What about if the character of Felix is left out for the next era, and Paloma fills in that role?
