    Amazing how the publicity photos showed a hard edged thriller and yet that is not the movie we got. I still think there was a better film here with some edits and more time on the script.

    Very much agree. A few edits. and a tweaking of the story and TMWTGG could have been a much better film than we got.

    How times have changed, today such a still would be unthinkable. Roger‘s dress would be shamed as cultural appropriation, and showing off that camel-whip amidst the surrounding girls now appears highly dubious as well. Society was more relaxed back then.

    I must say that Curd Jürgens' then girlfriend and later fifth wife Margie (actually, Margret) was also extremely attractive. But she was also 25 years younger than Curd.
