I have been a huge fan of Caroline Munro since I first saw her in The Golden Voyage of Sinbad; I was only 10 but I knew that I liked what I saw.

Years later I went to a convention to meet Ray Harryhausen; I stepped into an elevator and was face to face with Caroline; she was there to introduce Ray and introduce their film . It was a surreal experience.

    With all that said, Naomi

Very interesting results here. I thought Honey would win going away and yet Naomi held her own. Cool.

Lets move on to another scenario involving the women of Bond.

Take a tour of Drax Enterprises with Holly Goodhead OR get treatment from Pat at Shrublands?

Dr. Goodhead is a woman and very knowledgeable about space. She will tour you around and show you the sights. Careful you will finish up on the centrifuge machine designed to give astronauts the feeling of G-force. I guess you could say it will be a whirlwind tour.

    OR

Patricia, or Pat to her close patients and friends is well versed in bruises, massages and mink gloves. She will give you a variety of treatments, but careful if you are strapped to the rack! It might stretch you out.

Which female and event would hold your interest?

As much as i'm interested in Space exploration, that Mink glove is too hard to resist. And i'm pretty shallow.... :D

Logic would send me to the good Dr., as she's prettier and more intelligent. Sadly, I find her not attractive - at all. Pat, on the other hand, a glove, and some tensions to let go off, wins me over easily.

Time to pose another one for our group.

Would you rather spend time at a casion with Xenia OR visit the Junkakoo with Fiona?

Who doesn't enjoy time with a femme fatale and these two are both capable of making life interesting for those that they spend time with.

    First up

    a0adb3a6175c33c0632592a5c4fdb57c.jpg

She enjoys her drinks straight up with a twist. Xenia looks at home at the casino dressing elegantly and with an air of confidence. She enjoys a good squeeze and will definitely enjoy being on the arm of a ranked man.

Fiona is also able to dress up for a special occasion like the Junkanoo. Fiona gets tired of questions but does enjoy being on the dance floor. Careful she will likely have some friends with her, but her focus will be on you.

Junkanoo. Not giving Fiona a reason to kill me would be easier I hope. But full disclosure, like Jack Ryan (to the president) I don't dance.

Both are very tempting... I suppose the Monte Carlo casino can get a bit expensive if you start losing :)) and I do love to dance so let's go to the Jukanoo. I hear Luciana is there...

Fiona Volpe! I'll see if I can lock her up in a cage. The hottest woman ever to grace the silver screen.

Not that Xenia isn't attractive or fun, but no woman is a mach for Fiona.

Fiona. Because of the sexy Italian accent. And also, nice... errrmmm, features. And let's not forget that although you risk your life, at least it's going to last until climax.

A sweep for Fiona! Wow, I thought some might give Xenia some love. I might give her a squeeze! :)

Okay I was thinking that through-out the series there have been movies where one main villain is causing trouble in the world, then we have films where two to three villains are causing challenges for the world.

I think of OP, TLD, and TWINE where Bond is up against a few baddies. This can mean less time for character development, but does open up story ideas. The film that was likely the most successful for multiple baddies was OP. TLD Whitaker seems to become an afterthought and Koskov becomes the main baddie. TWINE had a great background to Renard and Electra and how they now related to each other.

    So I have to ask...

Would you rather one main baddie in the film OR a film where multiple baddies wreak havoc?

If it's a great baddie, then I'll select that. Then there are the extreme cases like FRWL where you have several that were great and OP where Kamal and Orlov are in tandem, while GE had Trevelyan and Orumov, who I thought was too much like Orlov. TLD is a case where the multiple baddies were among the movie's weaknesses.

I miss the days with the baddie with a team of colorful henchmen and women.

For Bond 26? Just one main baddie I suppose. Multiple is fine as long as there aren't too many side plots cluttering up the film.

What might be interesting is having the first half of the film show Bond dealing with what we think is the main villain and end of the mission, but after their death there's one small clue left over that sees Bond follow up on that and lead to another villain/ensemble. Second half of the film features mostly new characters, kind of giving us two Bond films in one. Maybe that's been done before, idk.

I agree. Or have a villain be (properly) setup for a sequel(s). I don't think thanks to the internet, that EON could hide a classic villain in the shadows like Blofeld in the old days.

I might be in the minority here, but I prefer one baddie that's part of a greater force of evil. QoS is a good example. Greene is the main baddie in the film, but that doesn't take away the treat of Quantum (sadly, they forgot about it in later films, tying it all up loosely in SP).
During the cold war we had the danger of the USSR always in the background, I'd like to see Bond acknowledge the facts of the world we live in.

By default I'd say main baddie, especially for a first film. An ensemble cast of villains can work, in fact it worked beautifully in FRWL, but this is the exception, not the rule. I don't think it was executed well in TLD, they spoiled a great casting with Koskov because of shoddy writing. I think they should focus on one solid main villain for Bond 26.

Good stuff! I can see both sides on this one. I love @QBranch idea. I don't think that has really been touched on since DN. Bond thinks DN is operating on his own, then it gets revealed he's a part of SPECTRE.

Okay lets travel to some of the spots that Bond has visited and see what places you would rather visit.

Would you rather visit the snowy landscapes of Austria (Spectre) or the tropical islands of Thailand (The Man with the Golden Gun)?

Would rather go to Austria, it's also best visited in Christmas with snows, lights, markets, and beautiful views.

Seems, Christmas is near, I would visit Austria.

Don't worry, I would reserve Thailand for Summer in 2025.

It's been done in other movies for sure: The Godfather 1 and 3 among them. There was a bit of this in YOLT with Osato/Blofeld, but not really. It would be a nice thing to try. The novel CR has shades of this.

Anything but snow and ice. I'm even happy with the 1 to 5 degrees C (plus!), drizzle-tainted winters of Northern Germany as long as I don't have to clear my driveway. You could insist on Irma Bunt or Rosa Klebb to be my company, and I'd still vote for the tropical island. The alps are nice in summer, but winter is something I don't need.

Never seen snow let alone pee in it, so definitely Austria.

You prefer 5C drizzle and wind over snow and ice? I'd rather have it the other way around! We get plenty of drizzle and the cold getsu nder your clothes due to the humidity. Hell, I'd rather be in the mountains. Cold under 0 you can dress against.

tbh I really want to be in the mountains right now, but beeing in Thailand isn't bad either. I've been to both, and Austria is at a driving distance. I'll go for that. Especially in this season.

That's why German car drivers love the Dutch: clogging up the Autobahn with their caravans in order to get to the Alps. :D
