Nick Nack would do what he's told and would eventuallymove on to another employer. He'd be fun in the meantime, and he definitely wouldn't be in my will for anything significant that would tempt him to kill me. So he'd leave on his own accord and I'd be a good reference for his services.
Nah, I will stay with OddJob.
Ok moving on to another crazy one.
Would you rather hunt with Sir Hugo Drax OR with Kamal Khan?
Drax, hunts a traditional hunt with Bond for game. Namely pheasants. This seems to include his friends and partners. He has some of his attractive master race folks along for the ride. One only needs to be careful of snipers in trees. Otherwise, dogs, shotguns and fun seem to be what this hunt is about!
Khan, has a bigger group of supporters with them and quite a few animals to help hunt for...a human? Or maybe they will turn their sights on tigers, alligators or a variety of other jungle animals.
Which hunt would you rather participate in?
I might ask him if I can go for clays though, slightly squeamish about shooting birdies or assassins.
Like Roger Moore?
That one definately!
Always loved how Louis delivered that line.
Would you rather attend an art auction with Jim Fanning OR investigate your family tree with Sir Hilary Bray?
A few times our man has had to partner with civilians who are experts in their fields. James seems to enjoy their company and respects them for the experts they are. In one case having some fun with them, in another stealing away the knowledge they provide.
Might be fun to be in attendance for an art exhibit with an art expert. Though he is a bit stuffy and rather uptight he does have a light in his eye. Be careful not to raise your hand or scratch your nose. You may end up with a priceless work of art!
OR
Spend time with the Sable Basilisk of the College of Arms and learn about your family history. He is puzzled by the world of spies but is a great wealth of knowledge of coat of arms and which churches to visit while touring Europe.
I wonder which one would you rather spend time with?
....what? Not that Hilly? And not that sort of 'genealogy'?
I have no doubt you can sacrifice yourself for king and country....
Not to mention Baker played Tiberius in I, Claudius.
Okay not a hero at all, but what a role!
Good point! :)
Time to move on, in fact lets pose a fun time travel one!
Would you rather time travel to the premiere of GF and experience the height of Bondamania OR to the premiere of Spy to see the re-surgency of Bond?
I myself was only alive for one of these events and I was merely 8 years old when it happened.
In 1964 you'd be heading into a golden era (pun intended). A loose and easy feeling decade. Lineups around the block. Fleming novels flying off the shelves and Bond was back.
In 1977 you'd be heading to a time of doubt and then celebration that Bond was back. A dashing Roger Moore in the lead and the celebration of the Silver Jubilee in Britain. A magical time to be sure.
Both feature great films with gadget laden cars and the strong and silent henchmen who would wish to harm our man in his mission.
Suppose if went back to 1964 and had never taken in one view of Goldfinger, I'd jump at the chance as it was coming on the back of both Dr No and FRWL - both highly commendable stellar movies and you'd expect more of the same.
But knowing what you do now and at present time the only option seems Spy. The latter I strongly feel is far better than the other but that's only one fan's opinion. Moore plays it mostly straight for once outside of the slapstick of (his) other entries so for the reasons stated, TSWLM gets the vote.
