If you're lucky, they're just announcing it by then...

Yes just in time for the 100th anniversary. Plus a long awaited video game developed by the same people that created the Hitman series. Also the 10th season of Road to a Million. LOL!

1953, north sea floods, some tornadoes in the USA, an uprising in East Germany, Eisenhower becomes lassoed.

it was quite a year, and I'm not sure I'd be too keen to see much of it, but I guess sitting in Glodeneye would leave all that misery behind, and an interview with Ian, If I'd manage (I'd just introduce myself as an agent of the future, and proof it by predicting what would happen in the next few days) would be fascinating. But staying there, nope, no, not at all. (still hiding some aeroplanes from ww2 surplus in a barn though).

2053 I hope to see without time travel. Interestingly, it would have to be 'a version' of the future, for I'd definately go back afterwards and change anything in my personal life that I don't liek the outcome of.

Perhaps it's safer to stich to 1953.
There would be a sound of thunder. Yes.

We'll probably get a novel or two with Bond ACTUALLY in them. In all seriousness, I would love to see Bond's future in 2053. We know he's too popular to be ignored, honestly.

Interesting discussion as always. Love the creative takes on both sides of this time travel experience.

Lets jump into another aspect of the Bond films. The creative team! Some bring the series to life with creative flourishes and details that make the films so wonderful to watch.

Would you rather write a Bond film OR direct a Bond film?

Two of the most important roles of the creative team. They both have a huge impact on the tone of the film. Have fun with this one, which behind the scenes role would you rather do?

Writers have been plentiful in the series. Lately Purvis and Wade have been the resident screenwriters, but others have also written for the series to great effect. Scripts often need to be polished and some ideas were abandoned in drafts. You will likely be on the job for a number of years before the film comes to light. You might have to do re-writes while the film is being shot.

    OR

Directors are one of the first hired. They are responsible for the creative process and have input into hiring the rest of the team. You will be involved in the pre and post production of the filming and the film will become your baby. Many talented directors have brought the films to life. Some have even directed multiple adventures.

Which one would you rather have? Feel free to get as creative in your answers as you wish? You can tell us who you might cast in the film or what elements or tone you might strike with your creation.

Well, I know for a fact I'm not a director, but I fancy myself a writer, so I'll say write.

I feel I can write humour pretty well, so maybe I'd be on the writing team handling that area. I like playing video games too, so best keep me away from the director's chair.

I'd rather direct because I "get" Bond.

I love and respect the character, the franchise, it's history, the Broccoli family and the fans .........especially the fans here on MI6. :) .

Also, as a go-getter, I'm confident I could direct a trilogy of Bond films, one every two years. :)

Write Bond, as I have already done. Just fan fiction short stories, of course.
