TB would be easier to spot the airplane with a satellite than a helicopter. Unlikely to lose the plane as they do in that movie.
Doubtful that SPECTRE would have a hidden volcano base, likely to be spotted in satellite images.
I don't wish to see re-makes as I find they always lack the charm of the originals. Plus I haven't seen any current production designers who can match Ken Adams and his fingerprints are all over the series early films.
Different from that, filming the Fleming Bond novels updated to the 21st Century as CR did so well in 2006 has its benefits. And for GF, 60 years' distance from the Connery film.

To quote Cubby, "we deal in science fact." :)
I don't envy the writers having to deal with the technology and how pervasive it is. Hell it makes the gadgets of Bond somewhat tougher to wow the audience. The fact of satellites and surveillance being commonplace is also a challenge on a bullet proof story.
Please lets not put Bond back in the 60's in period pieces and not remake films. Lets have some new adventures that reflect the world we live in.
I note Corgi had no problems leveraging the technology.
I assume that it's just an empty box?
