A very good adaptation of the Frederick Forsyth novel, both Redmayne and Lynch are very good.
It’s got plenty of twists, turns, style and drama to keep you intrigued.
Also has great production value and looks slick. I’m hoping season 2 can continue on the story in the same vein as season 1 has.
It’s possible the tabloids will see Eddie Redmayne as a potential Bond similar to Tom Hiddleston after The Night Manager. Redmayne is a good actor and plays The Jackal well. He has style and is cool under pressure, but I don’t see him as a potential James Bond.
If you’re into this type of show, you won’t be disappointed.
The finale made all the right narrative decisions and I'll be looking forward to a second season.
