Right then peeps! Which Bond movie should I watch tonight - the escapist nonsense that is Moonraker or Mr. Dalton's superb debut, The Living Daylights?

My vote is for The Living Daylights all the way. I just watched it the other day and really had a good time with it; on the other hand, Moonraker has always been one of my absolute least favorites in the series...

Right then. Another random choice for you to make, Brosnan's slick sophomore effort Tomorrow Never Dies or Mr. Dalton's superb final entry, Licence To Kill?

    Voting closes on Thursday! :D

Tomorrow Never Dies for me, LTK, despite really enjoying it, feels more like a generic 80's action movie.

Really pleased with how much love TLD and Dalton get on this forum. Huge fan as well. The movie I could watch over and over is FYEO though. Just enough action. Just enough drama. Not many cringe worthy moments (amazing in a Moore film).

To be honest any of them! As it is just nice to escape from the real world for a couple of hours!

I haven't seen TND in ages, so I'll add a third vote for TND.

LTK is best watched back to back with Dalton's brilliant TLD debut.

There is no other sensible option.

I'm at the beach all week and I'd love to watch TB or DN to get me in the mood for being by the ocean!

DR NO. It has so much more class than TB. Are you going to be by or in the Ocean? Beware of sharks.

FYEO. Don't ask me why but I associate it with ending holidays and August.

I recall it being on during the August Bank Holiday (2000), yes.

I first watched it in August. I think that's why. But it seems to be in TV around August and September.

I first saw it in 1996 (I had got the FYEO Annual in October 1995), then taped it in Easter 1997 and the Summer of 1999 when the Bondathon was on showing all of the James Bond films in order (for the first time) on ITV .

  • OP is the best to watch when you need entertainment. I know I've said that a thousand times but it is true as far as I'm concerned. Brosnan movies are probably the best to watch with friends.
