I've been eyeing the Illustrated history of 007 book for some time. How is it?
2 of them are nicely written articles. One chapters is dedicated to to the plots of the strips, the other one has something to do with the movies. And the last chapter has some q&a with Mike Grell. Over all the book Nicely put together on glossy paper. There are some rare comic strips pictures that I have not seen before and a great publication history of the comic strips. I would recommend it.
Do you have a decent scanner that would scan in that front picture? I'd really like a hi-res copy of it!
I'm really sorry but i don't. Thats something i dont have I'm afraid or i would certainly do that for you. Not sure what we have at work but I'm back in this week so will take a look.

Hi Mate, Still to locate where in the film, it would feature. Story is my Uncle was in Florida in 1971. He was fishing and saw this sitting around with tons of other but they were badly rusted. He asked an old guy what they were. He said they did a Bond movie here a few years back and after they were done they left stuff on the sea bed and on the pier. This old guy had collected it all up and stuck in oil drums. He told my uncle he could take this one. Unfortunately the spear is not original, he was not allowed the original in his luggage so had to ditch it. Its one he found years later.
You have a nice wife!
I had to buy it myself :((
:))
For quite a while now, I've been seeking this palm-size computer that Christmas Jones uses in the pipeline scene, and recently managed to snatch one up for less than the usual asking price. On top of that, I was stoked to discover it has the 007/TWINE logo on the front in gold etching! I had no idea there was a special Bond edition in existence. Anyway, I haven't tested it to see if it works, but cosmetically it's in great condition even though it's missing the clear cover that folds over the top. Here are some pics:
On the back, it has the 007/TWINE logo once more, and even includes the film's release date underneath, although it's a bit difficult to see in these photos. Also, the barcode serial number ends in '007'. Pretty cool stuff.
I just need to make the faux radiation screen now to complete the prop, but here are a couple more pics of it residing in my small but ever-growing TWINE collection:
Also, the USB drive at the bottom holds BluRay rips of all 23 films. It usually sits in my TV's USB port so I can play them on my TV's internal video player software.
Needless to say, like many others here, my Bond movie collection is pretty superfluous.
