  • Picked this up for 50 cents at a flea market today, still in the shrinkwrap - I have the DVD version but figured why not, especially since it's new.

Very envious of your Goldeneye clock. I feel a visit to eBay coming on.

Easter present for you all! Seventeen years past its Best Before date and counting; older than some of our members. Slightly scared to touch it, these days.

I think I had that as a kid. Did that come with a mug?

@TR007 - yes, there was another version with a mug! I actually ate the egg in that instance, but I do still have the mug:

That is one fine looking mug!

@Agent_99 Ah yes! I've the same one myself back in my parents home. A silhouette on the other side of the mug with Bond him. Used to drink out of it all the time. They still dig it out and use it for me whenever I visit.

Oh, that's lovely! I'm sure one day I'll smash it and be sad, but I do think this stuff is for using and enjoying, not keeping pristine.

Picked this up at a little local comic con on Monday. Got it nice and cheap at a fiver. [img][/img]DSC_0184_zpsprj08sh8.jpg

Picked up an inexpensive hardcover copy of Casino Royale in pretty good condition - always wanted at least this (my favorite) James Bond novel in a hardcover. One gets a taste of its age by reading the back flap which says "James Bond has been portrayed int he movies by Sean Connery, Roger Moore, and Timothy Dalton."

Oh, nice, I love that sort of thing. I have a French edition of LALD with Sean Connery on the cover, because it's from 1964 and obviously nobody else was ever going to be Bond.

Had a quick walk around a car boot earlier and found a couple of James Bond bargain books. Not great condition and one book is duplicate, but more updated, but, for the price they were, worth picking up. All 50p each.

I was also on the hunt today! Quite a lot of entertainment here for £3, assuming my partner's PS2 still works.

Now that is a mighty fine collection you have there! Makes me want to buy a PS2 again.

FRWL seems to be b0rked, sadly, but I got heavily involved in Nightfire over the weekend.

@Agent_99 Sorry to hear about FRWL. Of all of those it's probably my least favorite but it's still a great Bond game. Everything or Nothing and Agent Under Fire are my top two favorite Bond games currently.

Couple of finds from my weekend away in Norfolk:

I couldn't resist the cards, which had obviously been on the shelf in the village shop for 4+ years. Badge from a car boot sale.

I have a set of CR playing cards - they're pretty neat.

I've got a movie poster set too, this one: https://www.geekalerts.com/james-bond-poster-playing-cards/

I like that they put TLD on the box even though the cards came out in 2008. Good taste there :)

Just received Red Nemesis from Amazon. Now to find the time to read it...

Oh, and lately, I've found out that my dad had an interesting piece of Bond memorabilia : a James Bond shirt. Yes, they were around way back when. Don't know if he got this in the sixties or seventies. Unfortunately, I can't wear it. A bit to high, and too thick in the middle, I guess. The shirt is too small for me now.

I had that collection of books that the DAF book you bought belongs to, I still regret giving away literally all my Bond collection.

I can imagine. Was it because of storage you has to pass it on? Luckily, we now have a bigger house so storage is no issue.

Takes me back to when I used to explore around markets, car boot sales and
second hand book shops trying to get one set of Fleming Bonds. It's always
a great feeling when you find something.

I'm still missing two from that particular Pan edition with the distinctive item-on-a-background covers: Dr No and FYEO. I have them in different editions so I haven't made an effort to seek them out, but if I happen across them, they're mine. (Honestly, it's starting to annoy me a bit.)

A friend at work recently sent me a link to a t-shirt she happened to come across. I really like it, so have ordered one. https://www.teezily.com/for-true-fan-only-007#/product=32&color=black&side=front

Looks interesting. Can't quite follow some of them.

1987 is meaning nothing to me - Nazi shurikan?

    lol :P
