I wandered round the local charity shops today and bought the DAD soundtrack. Still in the plastic wrapper. For 30p. I'm not sure I even want it but sometimes strange forces compel me.
As for the book, easily found on eBay for less than £3 and free postage. Hell of a bargain.
Decided to start collecting the novels. I had a 06 penguin copy of CR and a copy of LALD which I believe was printed in the 60's. Wanted to get them as a complete set - paid 80 for the Fleming collection and 45 for 12 Gardner books. Still looking to get Never Send Flowers, Cold Fall, and the LTK/GE novelizations.
What a bargain!!!!
I loved playing with them as a kid - wasn't in the collector mindset to keep them preserved in a box. No clue what the value of these are in the long-run, but I figure they could be worth something a few decades down the line.
It also features a 5 page article on The Avengers and, following on from issue 3, another 5 pages that act as part 2 of Swinging 60's Spy-Fi.
Thanks for sharing this. I went out and found a copy of issue 3 as we in the U.S. get these roughly a month behind. Along with Cinema Retro, Infinity will be a new addition Iook forward to adding to my collection.
Fantastic, hope you enjoy. The one thing I really like about Infinity (apart from the spy stuff), is the articles feature mostly on older sci-fi shows/movies etc. Nice to have a mag that concentrates on that sort of thing.
I also have "Strangers on a Bridge", "Profiles in Courage", "Animal Farm", "1984", and "The Crucible" on or near my Bond shelf. All of those books have something to do with the Cold War. While I never lived through it, it's certainly a favorite topic of mine. So…much…drama!!! :)
Also, I have a pair of Lindberg glasses similar to the ones that Elliot Carver wore in TND. I wear them almost every day. They feel amazing.
I'd really love to wear a Ghost Salma dress like Dr. Swann's to senior prom. Best part? My M is totally thinking about buying one for me.
And then there's the Bond jewelry. I have a number of Alex and Ani bracelets that remind me of Bond. I have an octopus, a conch shell, a snake, a calavera…and I have a replica of the Spectre ring.
I'm a little obsessed.
Good man. My propaganda is working well I'm glad to see.
.The four Ultimate Edition DVD sets.
.All 24 official films, well as CR 67 and NSNA, on Blu-ray.
.All the Fleming novels.
.The novelizations of LTK and GE.
.Carte Blance which I've yet to read. Is it any good?
.GE and TWINE for N64.
.QOS and GE for WII.
.A framed picture of the baccarat game from TB.
.Six posters.
.SF soundtrack. Not sure why.
Check out eBay. I got an ex-library copy of LTK in good condition with a dust jacket a couple of months ago for a decent price. I like the early covers of Gardner's novels.
There are only two holes in my hardcover collection and that's Fleming's 'Casino Royale' and Benson's 'Tomorrow Never Dies' and I'm not paying a 500 pounds for either! Strangely - I think it will be easier to get a Casino Royale hardcover than a TND one!
that is the Corgi "Daniel Craig" era box with yet another DB5, and the QOS DBS. I've got another bookcase full of items like the car collection, etc, but these are my favorites.
This is interesting. I bought all 5 Gardner-Benson film-novelization paperbacks when they came out.
But, I didn't see any hardcover editions in the stores at the time, just the paperbacks. hmmm
@QBranch Thanks! Bloodstone is definitely worth seeking out. An excellent game. Legends is okay, but the Wii U version is unfortunately the only compete edition of the game that you can still get. The Skyfall levels were DLC on PS3, XB360, and PC, and are no longer available, but they are included on the Wii U disc (hence my owning two versions). It controls better on PS3 though. The Wii U game tablet isn't the greatest controller for an FPS, and the game forces you to use it, not allowing even a Wii U Pro controller.
I've been curious for a while about JB007 on the Gameboy. I may have to give it a shot sometime.
Yes - the Gardner and Benson hardcovers are all relatively easy to come by - with the exception of Tomorrow Never Dies. That was a limited print in hardback and incredibly expensive to buy. So unless I stumbled across it in second hand bookstore when some bookstore owner doesn't know what they have on their hands then I don't know if I'll ever get it.
The Book Bond website is a good one to check out. Has pretty definitive coverage of all the editions.

With Trigger Mortis they released the paperback here first and I then had to wait a few months until the hardcover appeared.
I had no idea that you couldn't get the skyfall level anymore! Didn't even occur to me.
Great collection - I have all the same games on either Ps1, 2 and 3 - the only I don't have is the original Goldeneye - I wanted to get all the original spectrum 48k games as well - but only if I can get them cheap. They had AVTAK, TLD, LTK, LALD, TSWLM and then there as 'The Duel' which was the only Dalton image released material between LTK and GE I think?
