Will certainly be fun putting the pics together once I have assembled my film set! Lol!
What film props do you have? I am most interested in this area of collecting.
    Have 3 in total.

    1. Novelty one really from TWINE. It is one of the barrels from the Caviar factory set.

    2. Goldie's stunt machine gun from TWINE after the exploding suitcase bomb scene.

    3. Sean Bean's stunt gun from GE. My personal favourite.

All complete with the official documentation. The guns are already in display cases which are ideal for hanging which is what I did.
Nice. Not exactly small stuff either. I assume you have one of these barrels:

This is insanely cool. Where did you come by these items? Online auctions? Were they, relatively, reasonably priced?

I picked them up from a company called "Prop Store of London." They and a number of other companies have a relationship with the studio's down there. The day I picked up the Sub machine gun. The guy who owns the business took me around his warehouse. OMG it was like the end scene of "Raiders of the lost Ark."

The two highlights for me was the Aston Martin seats which he used in his office. Can't recall which film they were from? But the show stopper for me was one of the shells of the Q_Boat from TWINE! Now remember that this is still a shell? He said if he were to sell? As it was in his collection, it would start from £45,000.00 at least!

I bought these props well over 15 to 20 years ago. Price wise all those years ago?

Sean Bean's stunt gun was £600.00
    Goldie's stunt gun was £900.00

Brilliant and priceless investment to me. No idea what they are worth now? The Prop store use to appear a lot at the Memorabilia show at the NEC. However they haven't for a long while now as I think their stalls have risen in price steeply!
  • A price tag, sure, but as you say, for the Bond fan, truly priceless. I commend you for obtaining those.

I have a similar T Shirt to the Skyfall one you have except it's Casino Royale, alas the lettering faded I wore it alot.

Nice set of knives I recently bought a titanium Camillus Vortex Tactical Folding Knife

Thanks man. How do you like your Camillus Vortex Tactical Folding Knife?

One of the best knives I have had, I like to have one decent knife though I don't collect them.

    Here's my Bond cupboard yesterday.

The bottom shelf is big books and magazines, next shelf is continuation novels and movie tie-I paperbacks.
Next up is the Centenary Editions, then above those is the US paperbacks and three first editions, (the last three Bond books). Above that, 50's & 60's Pan paperbacks and Book Club hardbacks, (and the new Vintage hardbacks, Goldfinger arrived today).
The DVDs, separated by the toy Lotus. ('classic series' on the left, 'contemporary series' on the right).
And the top shelf, all the soundtracks. And on the right, some old VHS 'big box' ex rental shop videos I just couldn't get rid of, because I remember hiring the current Bond films back in the mid-eighties.

Very nice cupboard contents there, @shamanimal. The soundtracks are something I need to add- I only have the most recent few. I really need a cupboard or bookcase to display all my stuff, I can only lay them out on the bed in the spare room atm.
  • There were extended version of the soundtracks released in the 2000's. I had a job getting them all a couple of years ago, I seem to remember From Russia With Love being very hard to find. I've got the lot now, and I'd recommend the 'Music of James Bond' book to go with them, (you can see it on the shelf).

Got this tin sign in a charity shop at the weekend (it's about 2ft tall). The beat-upness just adds to the charm IMHO.

It's from around the time the film was released, possibly? Looks great!

That's a beautiful piece, even has the Bob Peak signature clearly shown on the lower left corner.

Really nice, @Fire_and_Ice_Returns! Using a proper mount in a frame makes such a difference.

I don't think my find is as old as it looks - it's just been in the wars!

Very nice find! You're right, the scuff marks lend the piece a rather cool "antique" quality.

    Bought this last year.

Cool artwork on that Octopussy tin, and I like how you framed the Daltons. I have a very cool A View to a Kill poster that features two of the poster artworks in one. This one:

@Agent_99 It's a good find nonetheless I always liked that TSWLM image.

@Agent_99 and @Some_Kind_Of_Hero I enjoy framing I picked up the two Dalton post cards for £5 and the frame for £10 they are two films that are the most fitting to be displayed together. Most of the prints I have I have framed or re framed myself it's a hobby of sorts.

@Some_Kind_Of_Hero Love the AVTAK poster, I have a few Sir Roger prints framed I did in tribute to him, a MR and a LALD both without lettering.

Poster Art today is not a patch on the old Bond/Movie posters.

They are beautiful. I highly recommend this book if you can get hold of it - full of wonderful official posters as well as advertising etc:
