Bond film 1 VERSUS Bond film 2 - FYI

Dear members,

The 'versus' threads have recently peaked again on the forums. They even spawned one where a Bond film is compared to a film outside the series. At this rate, the forum will soon be flooded with similar threads, as it's mathematically possible to create literally hundreds of these. While some of the older ones can indeed provoke intelligent and amusing debate, many would be dull enough to die a sudden death after a few posts. Also, as long as some members, eager to create one of these threads, don't take the effort to search the archives for already existing ones, the mods and helpful members can spend quite some time closing down duplicate threads.

Hence, we will for the time being close down any new 'versus' threads.

However, we are working on a solution. One thread will be engineered where these 'versus' ideas can be discussed at liberty. You see, we don't mind a good 'versus' discussion, but we don't like it when one trend in threads suddenly explodes into madness.
