    Wow this is a toughie cause both are in my top 2. I go for Casino Royale simply casue it gave the Bond franchise a great big boot up the ass it needed after years of silly and campy Bond films while Jason Bourne was shown the way for Spy films to be done. Craig for me is the best Bond since Connery and Green the most interesting Bond girl ever plus action scenes coming out of the ying yang and a great Bond baddie in Mads Mikklessen. I think Skyfall overall is the better movie but Royale is the more important. If that makes sense

    Not much love for Spy on here. I knew CR would win (everybody seems to love Craigs era on here, even QOS gets a fair ammount of praise), but I honestly don't understand why TSWLM is so unpopular.

    Imo it's a classic, it's probably the 2nd most iconic entry in the whole series (only beaten by GF). It's one of the most popular Bond films with the public so I was suprised when I joined up here and saw so many ranking it low.

    From Russia With Love was a classic! And The Spy Who Loved Me & Casino Royale were both great Bond films. But I'm going with Casino Royale.

    I like both CR and TSWLM, but i choose TSWLM because it is much more Bondish, and it is classic. Even tho Roger has his 'humoristic' era, i like it more.

    I would bet on TSWLM vs. CR for a while, if I were you. And, the funny/sad part about this is, I'm pretty sure I'm the one who suggested this one.

    I watched CR again recently and I did have a new appreciation for it. I certainly rate it highly. But SPY wins easily for me. Spy does what CR doesn't: fun.

    this is tough But I will have to go For Casino Royale. True Skyfall was great but i felt it dragged in London and Scotland a bit Royale doesnt drag at all.

    No need to apologize! School work has kept a majority of us busy, but now we can all relax and enjoy some Bond on our winter breaks.

    As for me, I'll say CR. SF was excellent, and although it seems like the newest thing is always the best, CR trumps SF still.

    2-0 for CR so far.

    Bit early for this match up but as of now I will go for CR.
    Skyfall is very close but I need to see it again to decide where it ranks for me. So much to take in that one viewing is not enough.
