In the battle of Asian lead ladies, I will vote for YOLT I'm convinced that Akiko Wakabayashi's was a better duck in her day than Michelle Yeoh was in hers.

Well, as expected, License to Kill received the heavier amount of votes and has crush QoS in this round. Congratulations to Dalton winning over Craig! Anyway, on to the next round! It'll be a Connery vs. Brosnan smash up as we pick between:

You Only Live Twice vs. Tomorrow Never Dies

    My answer remains the same:
    You Only Live Twice

Crud....foiled again by the prince himself! Thanks for drawing it to my attention! This is getting harder and harder trying to find matches that we havent already done. Oh well, I guess we'll call this one in the favor of You Only Live Twice and strike a new match!

New match is: On Her Majesty's Secret Service vs. GoldenEye

I think I did know that! Haha, and I'll put one down for GoldenEye as well! It's a matter of my favorite against my least favorite, so the Math is quite simple really! Hahaha.

@00Beast.You're making this too easy. Im 90s man manself and logged countless hours into Goldeneye for the N64 but as far as which the better film is, OHMSS surpasses GE in every single way. IMHO ofcourse.

    On Her Majesty's Secret Service.

Not even a real comparison. They're both great, but you're comparing a BMW Z3 to an Aston Martin DBS (quite literally)

OHMSS has the kind of class that GE can only dream of.

A minnow against a whale. OHMSS it is...

No prob. I recommend putting the matchups we've already had along with which one is the victor for each go-round in the first thread. That way we'll have an easy record of what matchups have already occured. For this round I pick On Her Majesty's Secret Service. John Barry music, Fleming's source material, Lazenby's physicality, the beauteous "angels of death" and the golden 1960s ambience give it a huge edge for me.

GE is at a loss, thus far. Beats every other film for me: always has and always will.

I love GE but OHMSS is the better film quality wise.

    OHMSS

I'll give the nod to OHMSS due to the Angels of Death knowing how to play with their boys with toys.

    You sir...are amazing :D

Incidently I remember an Empire review in 1995 describing GE as "the best film since OHMSS" Go figure!

    Tough choice! :((

    GE it is then.

A purely mathematical consideration: what I like about GE tops what I like about OHMSS, but then with the slightest, narrowest of margins.

GE for me, apologies to OHMSS fans but it never quite does it for me.

GE is a great film and re-establishes Bond doing what he does best BUT when up against the PC-free and vastly superior juggernaut that is OHMSS, it just can't win. The spoils go to OHMSS this round.

Both in my top 10, but OHMSS takes it:
    9. Goldeneye
    8. Casino Royale
    7. For Your Eyes Only
    6. On Her Majesty's Secret Service

Dammit... I love both films equally... It's gonna havta be GoldenEye, though, because of not only my feelings about the film, but also the N64 game.

OHMSS. GE may have the ghost of Dalton, but it's not enough. What GE needed was the real deal.
