    @SIS_HQ Well it was only a matter of time. You weren't here when most of the damage was caused, but during his two stints on this forum he had a habit of spontaneously lashing out at other members, and also deleting member's comments because he didn't understand or read the comment properly first. A few new members who were learning the ropes and needed guidance were scared away from the forum, likely never to return, and one member here demanded an apology but never got a response. This guy seemed to think he was above any wrongdoing and abused his authority. Yes, he contributed a lot to this forum and had many friends here but none of that justifies the lack of respect given. Typical case of someone bringing their personal home issues to work with them. Some months ago he popped up on AJB007 forum with his one (and thus far only) post - a film ranking, to which a moderator there reacted with shock and concern.

    Just for the record I personally never had any issues with @Birdleson and I consider him a friend. However, I understand there were other members here who may have had issues with him.

    I actually met him face to face once when he was passing through my area. Very, very nice fellow (unlike myself ;) ). Too bad he left IMHO.

    Just wanted to say I'll be away from the forum all next week. I'll be on my honeymoooooooooooooooooooon.

    I love that before we met, the only Bond film she'd seen was NTTD, which she loved, and now she's seen them all.
    Actually, we haven't finished the '67 CR yet.... as it was quite late. She liked what she saw, though.
