    Wow, Sherlock and Big Bang completely snubbed. Ahhhhhhh...Well, at least we get to see the idiots pay for having Ricky Gervais be the host. He is the only reason to watch. This live commenting is a cool idea @DC007!

    Yes @0Brady, big awards like the Globes and Oscars were commented live on the old MI6 forums. I won't be able to do that I'm afraid since the awards are are 2/3 am in my time zone... But please I love to read comments the following morning !!

    The show is at 3am in my time zone, so I probably won't see it live. I'll watch it on Monday night and I'll be trying to avoid any spoilers all day (which is a hard job these days if you have an internet connection).

    Thomas Newman got a nomination in the Best Original Song category for The Help. He'll probably get an Oscar nomination too for the same song. I think with a fresh Oscar nomination for Best Song, Eon should be more inclined to let him work on the Skyfall song. (If they haven't already decided that Newman will work on the song as well.)

    I liked the golden globes wayyyy better than the oscars last year for 2 simple reasons. 1- the golden globes had rick gervais. 2- christopher nolan really got screwed at the last oscars. Not even nominated for best director??? gimee a break.
