You can watch all the episodes in a weekend, if not a day, so you'll be up to date for Series 3 @Dragonpol.

@Sandy, on how Sherlock pulled it off? I'm clueless. I have ideas of what it involves, but I'm not sure. You?

We left a few ideas a few pages left, but in my opinion whatever happened
Molly was involved and arranged it. I suspect Mycroft was also involved but I'm not sure.

@Dragonpol, I would leave this thread until you have seen the entire two series, because I don't want anything spoiled for you.

And I task anyone to watch this show without tearing up. Hell, I get emotional at really simple friendship moments between Sherlock and John, so I was a goner for the likes of Reichenbach. But that's the best thing about this series, where the friendship of these two is so beautifully presented that it brings out the deep Holmesian in me and I can't help but grow emotional. For my money Belgravia is one of the absolute best character studies of Holmes that I have ever seen in my life, and though I have watched it far into the double digits, I can't for the life of me wrap my head around what Sherlock feels deep down. He is such a mysterious, deep and contradictory character all in one that he can never grow boring, which more than explain's why John sticks around. In those ways he's like us all, though he'd hate to admit it. We are all at times deceitful, sometimes confused at what we feel, but always ready to do any and all to help those we care for. I for one can't wait to see where Sherlock series 3 takes us, including
the reunion of Sherlock and John
which will have me in puddles of tears, I am sure.

Television hardly gets better, my friends...

    As soon as:
Sherlock told Molly he needed her, I had a feeling she would be in on it. Now, how he dove off and survived is a mystery to me. I think Watson being hit on the bike had something to do with it. Maybe everyone on the street was paid off and they swapped the bodies and Sherlock was caught when he hit the bottom somehow, since Watson's view was obscured by the bus? I'm sure I'm wrong, it's just a thought.

This is the best I can explain my feelings (spoilers for those who haven't seen series 2):

I don't see it, because I'm not really looking. I want to be fooled.

Well, the good thing about you seeing them this late is that you only have to wait a few weeks, while we've all waited a couple of years. ;)

They'll announce the return date as the 22nd, that's my guess.

It's gotta be a hearse, right?! Maybe a funeral for Sherlock and all that, connecting to the Empty Hearse episode?

I think so, but I also agree with @Samuel001. I just know I'm dying to know. I hope it doesn't happen while on my usual never-ending Friday meeting :(

I feel bad for you all, having to wait so long while my wait is only a few agonizing weeks. I don't have a Dish box in my room to watch television - I rarely do - so where would be the next best place to go to watch it live?

You'll feel our pain soon @Creasy47. Another two year wait after a big cliffhanger coming right up.

Wish I were in London, truly! I think
it has got to be an empty hearse
because that would be so perfect.

There are people on the streets waiting since 8a.m., the twitter feed for #SherlockLives looks crazy! There are people all over the world watching the traffic cameras (yes, really) waiting for something, anything, to happen. So far nothing...

New Year's Day and the following two Sundays. Nice idea. All three episodes in twelve days.

The hearse carried the air date too, a clever touch and great advertising.

    DVD for the 20th, then?
