Got me a new watch today. All it's missing is the close up of one of Q's female assistants. :))

I want to make a comment and a confession. First the confession:
    I watch Downton Abbey.
The complaint: this fourth season blows. Too many good storylines that were not fully expanded on and utilized. One would think that in the fourth season the writers/producers would be willing to push the envelope. Who are they writing for grannies?
Well here's a clue most of the grannies today are in their 60's and 70's. THESE ARE THE CHILDREN OF THE SIXTIES.
    duh....

The series Kizil Elma is available on youtube, but without subtitles. I have not checked it out as I do not understand Turkish.

Me neither. It's all a bit...well..."Turkish" to me. Funny that.

Ha, good one! Did you know that that is a special "Double Cross" fez design? Plus, I think @Kerim (despite his name) is American, isn't he?

Right, those Gardner references are sometimes lost on me. I only read the first three back in the eighties.

Just wondering, has anybody (in the UK) seen the advert for Britain's Got Talent? As much as I hate any sort of "talent" show, it put a smile on my face when it used the theme from You Only Live Twice very briefly. It also had a scene that was very reminiscent of Bond getting a Japanese makeup in YOLT...
