Random again: I'm 22 in 2 days!
Happy birthday pal, have a great day.
How do you know that you're not? How do you tell the dream world from the real world? Are you ready to go down the rabbit hole?
Chasing the dollar, you are absolutely right. constant social programming going on and in todays world become extremely efficient. there are people oblivious, people aware and people who chose to ignore it.
Think my brother had that season. he is a big comic book fan. is that the season where apocalypse is brought back? watched odd episodes with my brother though not sure which series is which.
Remember the last episode, thought it was good. my brother has the full season. shame they cancelled it. was not keen on the xmen cartoon that was similar to the movie's, costumes et al.
I read when he got the gig he went onto fan forums to gage the reaction. Do you think EON and co have infiltrated our ranks?
Is there a member who always knows the inside score. Is it DC or another EON spy?
Just this: No. And DC doesn't go into the internet anymore and when he got the gig, he was in Baltimore, he went home, called a few people, had a few drinks, went to an Irish pup and got drunk even more, unfortunately unable to tell the world, he just became JB.
What's a pup? ;)
LOL, I knew something was wrong, Pub... :\">
Hahaha
Anyway, I feel bad for Craig, if I'd just become James Bond I'd want to tell EVERYONE!
He didn't tell anyone GL, he just viewed the content to see what fans thought of him...I think. And you forgot to mention he went to the toilet 10 times, burped on at least 15 occasions, picked his nose 5 times and flicked the contents, put his feet up 20 times etc....
You're so well informed it makes me wonder that you're not really Babs as you already have the inside steer and correct information to hand. You are a legend.
Really? I love The Rolling Stones! Their other songs like "Brown Sugar", "Start Me Up", "Jumpin' Jack Flash", "Honky Tonk Women", "Beast of Burden", and "Miss You" are regularly played on my MP3 player!
Hahaha, it is a great song.
Yes it is an incredible song! And I so want this to be in a Bond movie somewhere -; it is moody, sexy, and menacing all at the same time. (Which reminds me, it was in Layer Cake in one of my favorite parts, DC with Sienna at the hotel). Anyone read Keith Richards autogiography? I enjoyed it so much; it was much better written than I could have hoped for, a great read, an interesting life.
I'm looking for some advice on tipping hotel staff. In 9 weeks time I go on my honeymoon to the bahamas, and we're staying in the Ocean Club (ala CR like any James Bond fan would). Now this place really is the best of the best, we get our own personnal butler, chaufuer and the staff to guest ratio is 4 to 1. There's employees specifically assigned to get you sun loungers and they pretty much do everything you ask.
I'm wondering how much/how often I should tip, and what for. I had the idea that I would splash a bit of cash the first day i'm there (so the staff know that if they do a good job they'll be rewarded) and then hold off and give them another (sizeable) tip on my last day.
Apologies for rambling on a bit there - thought i'd take the opportunity to rub it in a bit - but any advice is greatly appreciated.
So those of you experienced at travel at this level, please offer this Bond fan gentleman some advice. I only know you tip pretty much everyone; those who take your bags (when they take them for you), definitely your own personal butler (but that may be at the end of your stay, one tip), but I do not know the etiquette. Tip all the rest on the last day? Check your reservaton and other hotel info; gratuities will also be included to a good extent, restaurant, spa, etc. - probably you can have all of the tips added onto your total bill - except the car valet, cabana help, and help with baggage. I think. Make sure your maid who cleans up your room is tipped appropriately (when I travel I tip nightly, but check on the best way to do this at your luxury retreat). Do some research and sorry I personally cannot help more. Have a fabulous time!! And a martini perhaps? Or just some champagne ... :-bd
